i also agree a lot with the 6th reason. sometimes i just don’t want to be embarrassed or judged so i just play to avoid mistakes, instead of to get better.
@@whinybilly523 you need to make mistakes to become better though. don't avoid tough challenges, challenges make you better not being in your comfort zone
Agreed! But you won’t be with your team every day most likely! Most people spend 3-4 days a week with their team. And each of those training sessions may only last 2 hours. So out of 168 hours a week, you’re only getting to train with them for 6. So imagine being able to train double that, or triple that, that’s what I’m referring to 😏
While I think training alone is good especially for developing/improving technical skills, I think you only get better at the game by playing the game. I know several players who I feel I'm better than at shooting, passing and tricks but that play much better than I do in games. That's because I spend most of my time practicing alone but not having to test them out in game scenarios, while they are fully comfortable with the pressure and limited time that games consist of.
I've been training alone all winter and I have gotten way better than I once was. I still have a lot of work to go because I don't play as well in the games as I do when I am training but I am going to keep going. Nice video
@@SoccerWithMarat Yes I agree like I'm not on the top team which I think makes sense because before tryouts last year I was not as into the game I kinda just played to play but I decided I wanted to get really good and I've been working really hard all year. I hate watching my peers have teams they can play with, while I have nothing, except a goal in my backyard, but after watching this video, I have gained so much motivation. Although I practice alone, i will learn from my peers, and get better, trust me. My own family has a great passion for futbol. They are way better, I want to be just as good as them, one thing that motivates me is that I’m better than some of my relatives, (cousins) they say, “bro you have 99 pace, defending, shooting, and dribbling!” Which motivates me a lot. But, I play with my peers from school, and they are better, so much better. It makes me cry myself to sleep, asking myself, “Why am I so bad?” Now I have adapted from that. No more whining, I WILL go pro.

Quick Question Mate! I’m a right footed inverted left winger on my local team. My strong suits are pace and scanning the field if I were to focus on a few drills what would they be? Keep up the great work Bruv!!!
THANK YOU!! I feel as if you gave me the "Bruv" card and I want to use it in a video now hahaha. But yes there's a few drills that work best for inverted left wingers. Have you tried: "Cut and Shoot Drills" "1v1 to Cross Drills" and some "Inside Channel Combination Drills" ? I'll have to make a video about it because I also play on the wing and do these all the time. It's EXTREMELY helpful and effective
Please answer my question, respect Can I join a football team if I don't smoke and never will? Like the team I go to, I see some players who smoke and I fantasize about having to smoke to be a footballer. I'm really good at football and I'm never going to spoil my health doing something like this, do I have a chance to join the team without ever smoking?.
100% absolutely 👍 most professionals don’t actually do that, maybe it’s where you are but when you get in to the biggest clubs, they are extremely conscious about their health
You train alone to be on a team bro, it's like saying apples are better than oranges. In my opinion, both are good. Playing high intensity games is best.
I'm saying to train alone ADDITIONALLY to training with your team haha, there are massive benefits to both, but most people just rely on team training!
im in the uk and just can't find anywhere to train alone, my garden is small and concrete, the best i can do is keepy ups but can't train with goals, anyone know a way i can train on astro or any pitch?
I need to practice receiving the ball aka first touch I once missed a volley in front of my whole school and just thinking about it makes me grind me teeth I don't have a whole lotta space nor a friend nearby, so you have any ideas?
Play using a wall but don’t just do ground passes, pass only in the air and wall and keep the ball in the air the WHOLE time! It’s actually really challenging until you get the hang of it
@@SoccerWithMarat I tried it a few times in the past hours but couldn't do it But I'll get the hang of it in a few days (hopefully) I'll update you on the next video :D
You’ll want to learn how to shield a ball properly! Shielding is extremely important, because once you know how to shield, you can protect the ball from people way bigger than you by leveraging your body and gravity, and the only way for them to get the ball is to foul you
On concrete😅 and no this isn’t a joke..honestly speaking, if you don’t have any proper pitch or field to train on, then anything that is a floor will do. Whether it’s concrete, rug, parking garage etc! You don’t need a pitch to train, you just need your willingness to work 💪
I don’t get it I train alone I’m technical and fast from training with cones, finishing and passing but when it comes to game I feel average and not as good
Yes absolutely! Training alone only helps you improve dramatically faster, but training with a team helps you evaluate your improvements and progress, it’s important to do both!
It’s enough if you maximise that 2 hours. But as you get older, and REALLY pushing to make it to a bigger pro league, then you’ll want to train more. But to make it to a lower level pro league, I think if you maximise your training and train consistently 2 hours a day, you’ll have a much better chance of
You train as much as you can with maximum intensity. When you start to lose focus, you are done for the session. You are better off with a fifteen minute session with full focus than a two hour session shooting on goals unopposed, for example.
hahaha that happens to a TON of people. It just means that you need to learn how to read patterns more, and analyze how your team and their team are playing faster. Once you can do that, you will be able to make those decisions way faster and it will become more natural. Should I make a video on that?
My son wasted so much time by going to a ''dribbling'' class 6 days a week. What a waste that was. He now only goes ones a week to this club, just to stay in touch and see how he stands in between others his age group. He also goes 2 times a week to the local FC and he is the youngest in his class but is almost always the top scorer. He practices alone or with me once a week for 90 minutes and he improved so much. Sending the ball back and forth at the some leisurely pace did nothing. I made him run. I made him run full blast with the ball. I grilled him with ladders. We passed at game pace speed. He touches the ball over 3000 times per session with me. Going to the local club 5-6-7 times a week will stunt your growth. In the end, you have to run like hell. Dribble like your life depends on it. Burn out every personal session. If you don't feel pooped or sick, you're not training hard enough. You have to love that awesome sensation of staring at the sky when you fall down from fatigue. Once a week is enough, but you have to be in love with hard training. It's all up to the player. If this is too much, just lower your goals and go to an easier club. Nothing wrong with that. You don't need to be pro. Most important is to adjust your workouts to your expectation and enjoy playing until you're 105 y.o..
I think sometimes you have to train more chill. You have to work on new things. And to work on new things you should start slow and gradually build up. But I agree you have to push yourself to the outer limits at times so you can grow. Also (my kid is only 9) but I have found that repetition (regardless of pace) is good. For example I will cross many balls to him and he will finish. This is more about getting comfortable with the setting and reading the ball coming in and understanding which foot and which part of the foot to use. Once that is done then yes maybe increase the intensity, but for kids much of this is new.
One suggestion that I’d make, is focusing less on fitness and more on technique for your kid! As a youngster, they don’t need fitness as much as older folks. But by incorporating fitness into their technical drills and training is the fastest way for them to optimize both skill and fitness! I agree with you though, sometimes it’s just about having a fun and enjoyable time, setting the goal of becoming pro may be daunting, but just having fun is the first thing that really matters 🙂
Keep at it! Training alone will only make you better. If you are the best on that team though, one suggestion would be to find a team who are all better than you. It's a little secret that will force you to play and improve faster. If you don't improve, you don't play, and thats the benefit of never being the best on the team!
Where are you all from??

It's EXTREMELY helpful and effective
great vid but one question, how much and where did you get that bundesliga ball, every one i look at is like 130 dollars
I actually got it as a gift during Christmas, I love the ball though, it’s probably my favourite one I’ve had
even though scrimmages are more helpful for fast improvement, you made good points
Try to lower that background music. Overall good video
Must watch video
nnobody gonna mention the bckground music the whole video.
Nice one bro...good woŕk...
Thank you so much 😀
what a good video
Please answer my question, respect
Can I join a football team if I don't smoke and never will? Like the team I go to, I see some players who smoke and I fantasize about having to smoke to be a footballer. I'm really good at football and I'm never going to spoil my health doing something like this, do I have a chance to join the team without ever smoking?.
100% absolutely 👍 most professionals don’t actually do that, maybe it’s where you are but when you get in to the biggest clubs, they are extremely conscious about their health
What happened with the MLS tryouts
Where should I write the review if you do hook me up with a solo plan?
Wait could u atleast like train with 1 more player?
Yea of course!
@@SoccerWithMarat train lol not travel u know what i mean 😂
Hi brother, which part of laces exactly you connect with for long distance and height. I cant hit like that 😞
Thank you
oh boy what is the name of the background song????
I guess cold play by viva la vida
You train alone to be on a team bro, it's like saying apples are better than oranges. In my opinion, both are good. Playing high intensity games is best.
I'm saying to train alone ADDITIONALLY to training with your team haha, there are massive benefits to both, but most people just rely on team training!
im in the uk and just can't find anywhere to train alone, my garden is small and concrete, the best i can do is keepy ups but can't train with goals, anyone know a way i can train on astro or any pitch?
Train wherever! You don’t need anything fancy to get more touches, don’t let manageable excuses be the reason you stop!
@@SoccerWithMarat i do keep ups in my garden and kick against a wall
Nice video but the background music is a bit loud
Understood, and thank you 🫡😭
I need this
Nice bro
Love from Nepal sir
Nepal is so cool! 🏔️
I need to practice receiving the ball aka first touch
I once missed a volley in front of my whole school and just thinking about it makes me grind me teeth
I don't have a whole lotta space nor a friend nearby, so you have any ideas?
Play using a wall but don’t just do ground passes, pass only in the air and wall and keep the ball in the air the WHOLE time! It’s actually really challenging until you get the hang of it
Juggling
@@SoccerWithMarat I tried it a few times in the past hours but couldn't do it
But I'll get the hang of it in a few days (hopefully)
I'll update you on the next video :D

I luv u
I am 17 and afraid that i do not have time to work on my technical skills
For those who “don’t” have time make time 🫡 I believe in you
training alone has its benefits < THE RIGHT WAY>
BUT if u play side game everyday you will become good at game
Hello I have a question how can I get strong and be able to push over the ball every time
You’ll want to learn how to shield a ball properly! Shielding is extremely important, because once you know how to shield, you can protect the ball from people way bigger than you by leveraging your body and gravity, and the only way for them to get the ball is to foul you
What if your gk
Where do i train properly if i cant aford a pitch
On concrete😅 and no this isn’t a joke..honestly speaking, if you don’t have any proper pitch or field to train on, then anything that is a floor will do. Whether it’s concrete, rug, parking garage etc! You don’t need a pitch to train, you just need your willingness to work 💪
I don’t get it I train alone I’m technical and fast from training with cones, finishing and passing but when it comes to game I feel average and not as good
What exactly do you feel average in? Speed of decision making? Technical skill? Or something else?
@@SoccerWithMarat decision making and the intensity of the game and trying to go in position to recieve the ball
Do we need (after filling out the form) to tell us our weaknesses afterwards
I’ll be reaching out to you after you fill out the form so yes!
But would you have to train with your team at some point for when the match day comes?
Yes absolutely! Training alone only helps you improve dramatically faster, but training with a team helps you evaluate your improvements and progress, it’s important to do both!
Hey Marat I’m 14, trying my very best to make it and I know this isn’t much info but is 2 hours of training everyday enough?
It’s enough if you maximise that 2 hours. But as you get older, and REALLY pushing to make it to a bigger pro league, then you’ll want to train more. But to make it to a lower level pro league, I think if you maximise your training and train consistently 2 hours a day, you’ll have a much better chance of
@@SoccerWithMarat thanks for answering, at this age, how much do u think I should be training if I’m aiming for pro
You train as much as you can with maximum intensity. When you start to lose focus, you are done for the session. You are better off with a fifteen minute session with full focus than a two hour session shooting on goals unopposed, for example.
Bro plz help me, I decide what to do before the match and right afteri recieve the ball, i get blank
hahaha that happens to a TON of people. It just means that you need to learn how to read patterns more, and analyze how your team and their team are playing faster. Once you can do that, you will be able to make those decisions way faster and it will become more natural. Should I make a video on that?
This was a great video (prediction)😂
W vid underrated

@@SoccerWithMarat absolute W advice🗿
Does training alone count if my sisters give me advice
Of course haha!
Are you kazak my brother?
What we’re you using that vr on the field for
A LOT of things! It’s been a secret that I haven’t really publicly shared or talked about because of how much it’s helped, but maybe I change that 🤔
My son wasted so much time by going to a ''dribbling'' class 6 days a week.
Marat what are those drills that you do with a vr headset on?
Oooooo I’ve been keeping that a secret from everyone..maybe I should just let you guys know 🤔
ur vids are great tho keep up the great work
which club are you playing for?
Bellevue Athletic FC (Semi Pro team in Washington)
Kinda hard when I’m a goalie
Bachira Meguru was here.
Should I invest into a personal trainer I'm 16 wanting to play to MLS Next.
If you can afford it and you think you have the potential AND you’re willing to work harder than all your other teammates, then I think it’s worth it!
Yo i need this but im in a group that prepares for a league team, i am the best player there and even mayba im better than 1 player there
Keep at it! Training alone will only make you better. If you are the best on that team though, one suggestion would be to find a team who are all better than you. It's a little secret that will force you to play and improve faster. If you don't improve, you don't play, and thats the benefit of never being the best on the team!
