We would love to hear more dad stories. The only way to remember one’s legacy. By talking about the good they did in the world. Much love Ofc401. Really liked the video
Sorry to hear of your Dad passing, I didn't know he had passed. Mine passed in 2010 for almost 2 years I would catch myself picking up the phone to call him about something. He was also a Police officer and a veteran of Korea.
I lost my dad in 2013. For several months I would send him a text telling him that I missed him even though I knew I wouldn't get an answer. It was therapeutic. So imagine my surprise one day when I got a reply saying "who's this?" LOL. Thankfully the new owner of the number was very understanding.
Dude, this is your best one ever!!!! I've been told that I wasted my talent by not becoming a cop. You, on the other hand, didn't. I send my prayers to your dad, your family, and you. The best of luck to you Milt

Haha. My first memory was earlier because it was a new deal. 2 years ten months, flying across the Atlantic. Window seat, sat next to my dad. Sprite, peanuts. What are other people's earliest memories?
Loved this video. Brought a tear to my eye hearing the stories, especially about him coming home and just wanting to hug his son. He was very obviously bad ass, a caring father, and a true legend. Awesome!
I am so moved by the fact that your father could take something ugly and tragic and turn into love. He sounds like an amazing man, and I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing this. 🤗💗
I lost my dad last year so I get what you mean. I miss him too. Each story you share of him lets all of us get to know him as if he was the one telling it. Keep doing what you're doing.
Love this! Humanizing police officers and what they go through is so important right now. I’m sorry for your loss- I’m grateful you had him as your dad. What a legend!
Your dad was clearly a badass! I’m sorry for your loss. I remember this guy. He kidnapped a woman from the car wash I used on a regular basis in Austin, TX and of course murdered her. She was about my same age. Oddly, it didn’t stop me from going to that car wash. I guess I thought the odds of another serial killer getting me in the same place were so low I wasn’t scared. But I’ve never lived my life in fear from anyone.
I’m very sorry for your loss. You when I first started watching your channel, I had my heart on being a Police Detective. Than I saw the video of your dad talking about his life as US Marshal. It really opened my eyes because I never really knew what the US Marshals were. So now my plan is when I get out of the Marines I’m gonna send in an application for the US Marshals. And I just wanted you to know that it was your dad that inspired me.
RIP-grandpa401!!!!! Your dad is a legend ! And your are one in the making! I love you officer 401. When I turned 18 years old I was so lost In life. Didn’t know what to do, or what to become. Hope you enjoyed the show. If you like these type of shows I would recommend Jack the Ripper: The New Evidence. RUclips Channel (Crazy Weird Cool Shows) Have a good day.
I remember my dad stoping someone trying to break into our neighbors house. When he pulled up in the driveway when he was on lunch break. It was the coolest thing that I ever saw him. He drew his 357 and snuck up on the guy and pointed his gun at the back of his head. He told this guy to put his hands up. And, if he tried anything that he was going to end up in the hospital. This was back in 1985. He was the coolest guy that I know. But, he's since retired.
its sad that your dad, in his final months, felt regret for not having been there as much as he would've liked. There's plenty of dads who're there all the time and are absolute scumbags. What's more important than being there all the time is being someone who's worth having around, and your dad certainly was.
Sad story all around. So sorry about your dad I know for sure he’s looking down smiling and proud of you. Not even gonna lie I’m a little sad now your dad was cool when you did the interview with him
This is a really cool tribute to your dad, Rest In Peace 401 dad. I remember a while back you interviewed your dad and he seamed like a really cool guy and there was totally chemistry between you two... I can only imagine all the stories he couldn't tell, would be quite a series of interviews. All what counts is you have a good memory of your dad and respect.
Your Dad is an American Hero, stories like this need to be told to give examples of what it takes to do 'the job' and to remember the history on why we need a solid justice system. Thank you for sharing and keep going forward with the 401 channel.

God bless you 401! I totally get the Patrolman's compassion decompression. My Mom retired NYPD APO Lt. While she was not a "Peace Officer " per say, she/we as APOs did get a lot of exposure up there in Da'Bronx. And there were a several late night wakeup hugs, even a few tearful ones. So yeah, I get this! Thank you brother for your candor, and all your fine work on this channel. Also, a belated congrats on your promotion to Sgt! May God continue to bless, & protect you, & all of your's.
Heaven by whatever name you call it has another true blue hero walking its golden streets.
Thank you for your service SGT !!!
My condolences to you and your family. Thanks for sharing. RIP Marshall 401! Thank you for your service.

THANKS FOR BEING ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS LOOKING OUT FOR US 401, my condolences brother I had no idea your amazing father passed, I'm sure he won't let a little thing like death stop him from continuing to watch over and protect his family and innocent people, now as a guardian angel.
