Sorry to hear of your Dad passing, I didn't know he had passed. Mine passed in 2010 for almost 2 years I would catch myself picking up the phone to call him about something. He was also a Police officer and a veteran of Korea.
I lost my dad in 2013. For several months I would send him a text telling him that I missed him even though I knew I wouldn't get an answer. It was therapeutic. So imagine my surprise one day when I got a reply saying "who's this?" LOL. Thankfully the new owner of the number was very understanding.
I remember one time as a kid, I was on a swing set I had in my back yard. I fell backwards and hit my head on a sharp rock had to go to the ER and get stitches lol

I’m very sorry for your loss. You when I first started watching your channel, I had my heart on being a Police Detective. Than I saw the video of your dad talking about his life as US Marshal. It really opened my eyes because I never really knew what the US Marshals were. So now my plan is when I get out of the Marines I’m gonna send in an application for the US Marshals. And I just wanted you to know that it was your dad that inspired me.
This touched my heart. May he rest in eternal peace and surround your family with his love. As a person in the police application process you give me so much hope and motivation. This is a really cool tribute to your dad, Rest In Peace 401 dad. I remember a while back you interviewed your dad and he seamed like a really cool guy and there was totally chemistry between you two... I can only imagine all the stories he couldn't tell, would be quite a series of interviews. All what counts is you have a good memory of your dad and respect.
I'm sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I bet every good dad is a hero to his son, I know my dad was my hero. I don't understand why youtube would demonetize this video.
Beautiful video. May your father rest in peace, he has earned his place in heaven. The apple does not fall far from the tree, and I am positive your father is proud of you ,and is watching you from above. Thank you for sharing this story, it shows how human officers of the law are, and that they too have hearts and emotions. You have every right to be very, very, proud of him, and he of you.
I am so sorry about your Dad, 401. Prayers to you and your family. Thank you for helping me understand what it is I need to know about becoming an officer myself.
My condolences to you and loved ones. Your father not only leaves big shoes to fill in the Marshall Service, but Law Enforcement as a whole. Thank you for your sacrifice and time nit spent together, but his service brought justice to many families. Like you said, we are all proud of pops.
The story of McDuff is such a haunting one. The brutality that he inflicted on his victims was incomprehensible. I sometimes wonder how men and women like your dad could restrain themselves when arresting evil like McDuff. Their discipline & commitment to duty and honor is truly inspiring. You were blessed to have such a dad.
Your father was a true hero. Cherish the memories you have about what kind of man he was and always let that be your goal in life. Watching your videos, it seems you have many of his outstanding qualities. Thanks for sharing all of this and stay safe out there.
So sad to hear about your loss. I really enjoyed the videos that you made with him. His legendary badassery definitely transcended the screen. RIP Marshal401
Your Dad is an American Hero, stories like this need to be told to give examples of what it takes to do 'the job' and to remember the history on why we need a solid justice system. Thank you for sharing and keep going forward with the 401 channel.
Your dad was clearly a badass! I’m sorry for your loss. I remember this guy. He kidnapped a woman from the car wash I used on a regular basis in Austin, TX and of course murdered her. She was about my same age. Oddly, it didn’t stop me from going to that car wash. I guess I thought the odds of another serial killer getting me in the same place were so low I wasn’t scared. But I’ve never lived my life in fear from anyone.
It sounds like your dad was an amazing individual. I'm so sorry he can't be with us today. I have no doubt that he would be super proud of everything you have done as a police officer to get to where you are now!
I'm so sorry 401, I didn't know your Dad passed away. I really enjoyed both videos, especially this one! I see his qualities in you for sure. I'm also thankful for his service, and for yours💙

I think it would be amazing if you could share more of his legacy with us. Of course only the things he would be ok with and you are comfortable with. Wishing you many blessings.
Your father was one amazing man! I see that you are very proud to be his son. One thing I found heart-touching is how your dad always came home to hug you and love his family. I see all too often people in that line of work turn to alcohol and/or drugs and, in some instances, domestic violence because a lot of people don't know how to deal with the trauma they encounter. But not your dad. He seemed like a real hero who did his job successfully, AND loved his family with all his heart. That is a real hero in my mind. I really enjoy when you speak of your father and share his stories. I love your awesome content and what you share about the police field!

I remember my dad stoping someone trying to break into our neighbors house. When he pulled up in the driveway when he was on lunch break. It was the coolest thing that I ever saw him. He drew his 357 and snuck up on the guy and pointed his gun at the back of his head. He told this guy to put his hands up. And, if he tried anything that he was going to end up in the hospital. This was back in 1985. He was the coolest guy that I know. But, he's since retired.
