Great vid. You can tell this is a real labour of love & he's so passionate & excited about it. No doubt the end result will be stunning & can't wait to see & hear it when it's finished. There's another series for the channel you've started whether you meant to or not lol.
That bike is a testament to the skill of the welder/fabricator who did the modifications. I can imagine it once the bodywork is fitted... I'd be happy enough just sitting & looking at it to take in all the detail. Nevertheless, 150 bhp with that frame might be a bit of a challenge to master. I remember Roger Marshall & his Harris GSXR11 in '87 (a.k.a 'the Beast'). If someone could do a road going version, it would be quite something (frame would cope better with the power I would have thought). I remember some years ago seeing a bike claiming to have the frame from the Beast come up for sale so it may be still out there somewhere...
Seeing these bikes and the enthusiasm you guys have takes me back me to the days of my youth and the source of the passion for motorcycling that still burns strong in all of us. Thank you.
Nice! Something special about a labour of love, restored / restomod bike. I’ve got a shopping list as long as my arm for my old bike - but keeping an oldskool Suzuki on the road is priceless!
Neevesy what a fantastic video. Your bike building mate has given many of us wet dreams. Many thanks. I have a 86 GSXR that was my bros for many years. Not that it will be close to this but I will make a solid effort to come close. The braced frame is purrfect, I’ll definitely be using cues from that and the brilliant idea of a bandit 1200 motor. I already have many parts for it. And winters in Canada make for shop/garage time bigtime. Once again thank you for this amazing video 🙏
Lee has done a great job welding, fabricating and machining those parts. Creative and skilled. Those cerakote crankcases are lovely. And all the ally vapour blasted looks excellent. Beautiful job. Lovely details. Thank-you for showing us 👍
Another great video about the Gixxer! It's funny that last Monday I typed a very long question about the new middle weight sports bikes that I was checking. Over the weekend, a test ride at the other side of the country, I now joined the owenership of a L1 Gixxer 600, in metalic blue which matches the year and colour of my car. A very happy man. Keep updating and inspiring us sports bike fans, Mr.Neevesy!
Great 👍 thanks for sharing this with us I've been modding my K6GSXR and had an 87 1100 much modified,, they are a cracking motorcycle,, loving these videos ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland
Some nice bikes in that shed, fair play, like that second gen R1. I had an 85 750 slap side, got stolen from Middlesex Poly in Trent Park in 1987. I had an 1986 86 slabside in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, in 1992, great bike. Tank got dented from a freak hailstorm in the middle of Summer. That metal fabricator is a skilled craftsman in the real sense. Love this content.
I had a FZR600 (the original black & silver steel frame) stolen in the late 80’s on Derby Rd Nottingham. Horrible feeling. A very long time ago but still remember it.
Another great vlog mate 👍🏽🏍🔥🔥, That’s going to be a proper weapon Bob when that’s finished ! Love all the trick bits of engineering / fabrication 👍🏽, look forward to seeing her when complete. 👍🏽🏍🙏🏽
What a beauty, I have always wanted to start a bike project like this.. but everytime I add another bike to my stable, it’s too nice to modify 😄 I need an eighth bike/project bike 😁🤙🏽
Looking forward to the next update, I have a similar build (Slabside 750 with Bandit 1200 trackbike) That I started building during COVID, currently running Skoal Bandit paint, the quality of the mods on Dave's bike are dreamworld stuff, buy like Bob I love the Slabbie's and wouldn't change mine for the world (Ok maybe an RC30:) . Ride mainly at Classic Bike track days with occasional modern bike day, so looking forward to seeing it on track one day
Love Bob's bike, can't wait for it to feature again. Those Mikuni tmr carbs are fantastic, I've got some on mine, good on the road too. I think it's 1246 cc, it's the largest you can take the Bandit sleeves out to. Love old oil cooled GSXRs !
Be lovely to get links to all the specialist people who have worked on it for the engine painter etc. wouldnt have a clue where to go for these services
If you had 5k and just wanted a quick run around, which would you buy from the following, Neevesy? Triumph Speed 400 or CFMoto clx 700 Sport or RE Guerrilla 450? I'm torn! Brand vs amazing value for money vs great handling (apparently!)
Being of a certain age, I always loved the slab side GSXR-S but god don’t the frames look flimsy, have to be weaker than a steel cradle frame though obviously lighter. No wonder they slapped!!
Hello Micheal, want to know about your opinion on these two , new Street triple 765rs vs Ducati monster plus 937 .which is better road bike for weekend trips and one bike garage ?
It was actually built by Ducati UK back in the day. It was a show bike to promote a one-make Sport Classic series, but it never happened. The bike is pretty trick!
Doesn't matter what age they are, it's fabulous to see a person enthusiastic about their passion.
I was there that day at Brands Legendary hard fought battle. Bike of legends.
That’s brilliant Neevesy 👏. Please follow Bob’s GSXR journey it will make for great viewing for us unabashed GSXR fans 👌👍👍👍

Absolute beautiful British Engineering!!
It’s cool that Kevin schwantz is one of the MotoAmerica’s Biggest supporters & laguna seca is only an hour away from me too 😉
@@NudaMan Take care on that corkscrew! Im about an hour away from the great Silverstone circuit and Donington track here in England.
very nice ..i’m even hankering after a Suzuki after never owning one in over 40 years of motorcycling
What talent there is around to create these masterpieces! Really enjoyed this video and looking forward to the follow up videos
Awesome video! She is going to be a beautiful bike! Can't wait to see the finished product. Best!

You have a unique talent for very interesting channel content. That bike is nearly priceless. Massive 🎩-Tip to all involved.

Metalworking can be an art form 👍.

Great video Michael I love Bob’s enthusiasm for bikes and life what a beautiful bike he’s built. We all need a Bob in our lives 😀👍👍
When he said he got a GSX-R750 at 19 I think I saw a tear of joy in his eye
This is awesome I’ve nearly finished my 1278 project and I can’t wait to ride it
Amazing motorcycle!
NICE ONE BOB
Spectacular!!
Its so easy to get carried away when you build your forever bike. Do it once, do it properly, no regrets 👌

Nice. 👍
Be lovely to get links to all the specialist people who have worked on it for the engine painter etc. wouldnt have a clue where to go for these services
so cool
That looks lovely! frame is spot on, never been a big fan of polishing everything. What's that cannister thing on the back of the subframe?
It's a catch tank...
It looks the nuts.
Do you know what wheels Bob used for his GSXR please?
I think they're Dymags
Nice

Hello Micheal, want to know about your opinion on these two , new Street triple 765rs vs Ducati monster plus 937 .which is better road bike for weekend trips and one bike garage ?
Street Triple all day long!
YES NEEVESY! 👊 Absolute pornography that is, can't wait to see it all finished and out for it's first ride - ACE! 🙂🇬🇧
GSXR stands for Grand Sports eXpermental Racing. Sounds like this bike is embracing all of that title.
What on earth is that taxi cab ducati sport classic about?
It was actually built by Ducati UK back in the day. It was a show bike to promote a one-make Sport Classic series, but it never happened. The bike is pretty trick!
Right way to go satin. I don't think racing and polished parts goes together
Yep standard finish is the best look, polished frames look terrible.
Can tell he loves he’s bike😅
see you next year @suzukilive neevesy
