@@oilboy13 I've mastered it now, big problem at the time was the mask I used, wasn't auto darkening so had to pull it down and lost where I'm tacking, new mask solved the problem
I'm really hoping this video helped me finally figure out how to take Open Root Plate with TIG. It is, so far, the hardest thing about Open Root TIG (for me). Even the Root Pass is generally easier.

What is the reason for an bridge tack on an 2"schedule40 & 6"schedule 80 pipe?
