This Is An Good Conversation Topic. Where I'm Located At, I Feel Like There's No Support From The Body Of Christ As Far As Reaching Out To See How Souls Are During The Pandemic And Fellowship Once A Week Specially If U Loose An Love One To Covid or Suicide, I've Been Feeling Separated From The Body Of Christ Because Everyone Choose Who They Want To Click With .... Instead Of Supporting Each Other And Pray With One Another .... That's My Concern.

I hear you loud and clear sis. The chat watching church is very clickish so I feel you. Have you considered reaching out to your pastor or church leaders to suggest fellowshipping ideas? Consider starting a women bible group even if it is you and one other person. I'm just throwing out suggestions. Grace & Blessings

Black churches will be mostly empty. Many people feel scammed because they paid tithes and there is no meat in the storehouse.

This is a great video discussion. Really giving me something to think about.

I agree with all of these points. I will also say that when I started attending a multi-ethnic church, it was easier to invite people to visit. When I attended a predominantly black church, my non-black friends were reluctant to visit because of the culture, worship styles, preaching, etc. In a multi-ethnic church, they felt more included.

Interesting conversation. A concern I have is that I'm not hearing the name Jesus. I think 'magnifying Jesus' should not be separated from church discussion.

I'm confused. Are we talking about marketing a changing business, or building the kingdom of God? I'm out.

    • @thejessicadiaries
      @thejessicadiaries 3 года назад +7

You can’t build the kingdom without marketing of some form. Helping to bring others to Christ literally involves the most basic form of marketing - word of mouth.

@@thejessicadiaries -- That's misleading, because you're coming from a business mind, and not a spiritual one. Plus... The Most High instructed us to go out to the hwys, and bwys... Help the widows, poor, Fatherless, and orphans... The twelve disciples ( All righteous men minus one judas ) were instructed to go out... Not pack into these buildings like sardines to be spoon fed by these charlatans who are worshipping money, vagina, and molesting children while you stay silent, and hide from those real discussions. The Most High said... He doesn't dwell in brick, and mortar buildings, nor with things built with hands... Speak to these REAL righteous brothers, and ask THEM why many of us are not in those demonic fellowships, and stop putting these sisters, and clowns like TD Snakes in the forefront to speak for us. The True Gospel is FREE, and doesn't take all of the vanity, and bells, and whistles to accomplish the ways of The Most High High. Get all the femenists, and effeminates out of those positions, and put the righteous men back in their rightful places is a start... And that starts at HOME... Then that righteous energy can THEN trickle back out into these communities. Until then you're wasting time trying to defend, and idolize these building structures.

There is a gap between the body of Christ and the local church. Seems that most sermons focus on a particular church’s attendance, not taking over the Pastor’s role or taking over his/her church, and paying the bills of the church so the church can do community.
There is so much missing, like what’s the purpose of the Bible? Purpose of church? Point of church denominations?

Tithing according to the scriptures is not, and never will be in the form of 💰 money... Also... A seed is not money, and the men are nowhere to be found in the buildings because of all these false man made doctrines, and a bunch of preachers with a Messiah Complex, and too many emotional sisters with a jezebel spirit trying to usurp their authority over men who should know better than to even allow that behavior.

Spot On Pastor Bri! I totally thought my church was multi-ethnic church but they were definitely just a white church that was open to people of color. My background was in the black church but my father was a musician and we ended up at many different denominations. I'm now trying to find ways to connect with others because I realized this after George Floyd was killed.

What you win a person by is what you win a person to. If you win them by fun or excitement, you might not have won a person to God as their highest treasure. Some churches make the mistake of being a mile wide and an inch deep and how to find depth in Jesus is important.

However, I will agree, that the stress of joining a "Black Church" is adhering to a culture that's been around for hundreds of years. It's scary. If you have grown up in their church. Downright spooky for a lot of Black people who did not grow up in the church. I can see how going to a multi-cultural church is more palatable and easy to meld into their culture.

Respectfully, 99 per month is a great deal for mid to mega churches but not a deal for small store front churches. I would consider doing membership subscriptions according to church size not one size fit all. There are a lot of churches who still yet to return to a building let alone get online. Is this a not-for-profit org ? If so, there are grants the org can apply to to accommodate small or financially challenged churches. Just a thought. I have other strategies but you will have to pay me. LOL. Blessings.

I’m expecting more from a church service post Covid… church as usual is done 4 me. I’m tired of sermons devoid of good Biblical teachings. These orators we have today are not speaking what ppl need to survive our times!!!

Dr question to think about, when ur saying ethic mixed churches is not good for black people.
You need to read the Bible more. When we get to heaven do you think God's going to have a black, white areas in heaven? NO.
YOU MADE NO GREAT POINTS. YOU are dividing the Church, Christ came to Unite. Im shocked your a pastor. Lord have Mercy.
WE NEED TO KEEP OUR LEADERS IN PRAYER TO SPEAK AND THINK MORE LIKE CHRIST.

Maybe there would not have to be a "black church" if white Christians had been more Christ-like over the course of this country's history. Your comments (and others like them) in response to Dr. Bri's words only show your racism I'm response to black people's efforts to build institutions and create resources that value us and fight for the Kingdom virtues of justice, equality, civil rights and the image of God in ALL people.
