Excellent lesson about Bible study! . So many people are walking away from Jesus because of man's misinterpretation of His word.

As a devout Christian and student of the Word…..and as a gay person (lol), you can guess that I have a big struggle with grappling some scriptures. Always introducing my experience and personal truth with scripture for conversation. One thing he said that rings true “Am I to solve this”. Sometimes I chalk it up to the mystery of God (I can’t have God all figured out). Other times I have other LGBTQ brothers and sisters asking me to help them get to know God better.
I may never know fully, but if I can bring people to God through my knowledge and experience of Him while being a me, then just maybe that’s the point of ya know…..me being me you feel me?

It is important not to major in the minor when it comes to the Bible!
Sometimes Biblical difficulty can be used by the enemy to lead us astray!

Love the description of how the Bible is broken down and compared to how we as Believers or Non-believers could learn, interpret and/or apply the principles to our lives. Oftentimes, Bible passages are misinterpreted and/or taken out of context.

This was soooo good, honest and sobering! Thank you so much Dr. Esau! Thank you so much for bringing this Jude 3 Project!
    Favorite takeaway:
There are people who have dedicated their entire lives to studying and breaking down the Bible and concerns around it ... researching 2-3 scholars around particular topics could be really helpful.
If we SERIOUSLY want to learn, resources are available.

A lot of men seem to quote that and try to get women to do that and when women don’t agree they say things like that’s why you will end up single and lonely
When I tell them according to 1 Corinthians 7 :34 it is not sow
I get insulted that the New Testament is fake

    Amazing man. Thank you sir.
Something came up where I was talking about stuff that didn't make sense with the Bible but that anything Jesus said at least it's the truth. (Really basic way to break it down without writing a novel) That disturbed her so I took my post about it down. But what you're saying is phrased a lot better but the spirit of what I was saying was very similar

Their is nothing confusing or problematic about Corinthians 11 or 14 . Paul was very straight forward in the rules and stipulations of the woman. We are no longer in the age of prophecy (prophets don’t exist anymore) we are in the time of outcome. Paul also goes on to say the woman should not even hold authority over a man. These concepts were enforced to maintain order in the church as well as in the world. We are in opposite times now a days . look at the chaos that runs in the streets as well as in the church.

By your statement that we are in different times negates scriptures! It does not matter what time we’re in as it relates to scriptures otherwise God would need to give scripture for the changing times. The scriptures are timeless!! The key is to correctly exegete the text. To say there are no more prophets would mean that we’ve all come into the knowledge of the truth and the unity of the faith, the body of Christ has been edified, and we are mature! Well we know that’s not the case! From a spiritual perspective the Word also tells us that there is neither Jew nor Greek, male or female…..! One can teach and preach without having “authority” over another! The enemy wants to divide the Body of Christ by any means necessary and if he can use the division of sexism he will use that. It’s not possible to be a female apostle or prophet (Acts) and they not “speak”! I think the bigger question is why is this matter an issue in the Body of Christ? It’s a matter of the heart. I personally don’t care if a dog told me a truth from God (He has used animals to speak! and roosters to crow). If I can confirm it’s from God all I can say is “Teach me Lord” I am your servant and I want to know what will help me to better understand You and Your word! It’s less important whose mouth is doing the speaking and if it matters to you perhaps search your heart!
