Nice video, subscribed. I'm just rated 950 but after giving the check with the rook (which is usually blocked with Ne2), I just play h5 (intending to go h4 and bringing the knight over with Nd7, Nf8 as a defender) and this is a very comfortable position from my experience. Tartakower is probably the most relaxed branch of my entire opening repertoire, always glad to see it on the board.
First of all, nice Video, but I am missing two Main plans for black: 1)Very often they dont castle and just develop, Be6, Knd7 and so on 2) Main move after 0-0 is actually h5, its waay harder to attack with white compared to g6
@@KDlearns yeah hes funny and I guess hes ok at chess lol And actually with my dubious a3 nonsense as white people dont play caro they take the center and then chaos ensues lol
They play Caro-Kann. You destroy Caro-Kann. Beautiful
They Caro-Kann't figure out how to play the opening! I apologize for my pun in advance lmao
thats the whole point of it. if you are stupid, read the title again

All these caro videos from you and alex plus the existence of gotham, now I'll have to learn the caro just so I can kill the caro haha
Exactly!! If it's gonna be popular, you better be ready to handle it! Love Alex, too btw. His stuff is great

@@TheoreticalDraw lol what is a3 🤦🏻♂️
@@KDlearns exactly. What is it, well its different and playable, so I get fair fights I guess
Technically it's called the Andersen opening , I love it
I nowadays prefer to play the Karpov due to the Caro pawn structure and now having to deal with the immense attack white throws at you.
I don't know the Karpov one by name. What is that one?
@@KDlearns It's Nd7 after Nxe4 in the classical.
@@Fenamer are you just praying they dont Ng5 you then
@@camerondavis6607 It's pretty easy to deal with that. 1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 dxe4 4.Nxe4 Nd7 5.Ng5 Ngf6 6.bc4 e6 7.Qe2 Nb6=
@@Fenamer that seems like a very very very early stop to that line tbh
Definitely will use this
