I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but this channel feels a lot like Gotham chess when he was undiscovered. Your content is amazing and continues to improve in regards to editing with every video. Thanks for providing for us plebs haha
Keep it up dawg. Definitely some of the best content out there, especially in terms of openings. I like your explanation of the general themes in the position rather than going through rote lines, and your willingness to attack/sac is really fun to watch. Definitely going to start playing with the Jobava -- especially the kingside play, I know if I were black I'd have a lot of trouble reacting against the early f3 attack on the bishop (especially because I think around my rating ~1700, the early f3 push is so rare because it's "forbidden", but seems like you can build up so much kingside momentum that there's hardly time to exploit any weaknesses created, plus your pieces are immediately staring down the kingside anyways!) PS meant to comment this on the Jobava video i was just watching, but the point stands haha
I'm starting to like the Caro Kann more and more, maybe after I see a few more videos I will try it out. Thanks, love your content I'm glad to see that I'm not the only who make blunders
I tried the Caro Kann in my last tournament, after watching his videos. My results were not so good but I have learned a lot. I will continue in a couple of weeks in another tournament.
I switched from the Scandinavian defense to the Caro-kann because of these videos and I just passed 1200 after starting to play chess 3 months ago! Thank you!
These rating climb videos are so great! I watch every single one. I've been trying to play the caroslav as my main defense for a while now and I'm learning so much. If you're wondering what your next rating climb could be, I vote for KID/Pirc and the KIA. Thanks for the great content!
@@AlexBanzea It was interesting analyzing the game that ended at 17:40 with Dragon you played so accurately in opening and endgame with a lot that could've been done much better in the midgame
Your vids showing the Caro- have made me think on whether I should take a second look at this opening. I dropped playing it for more dynamic defenses. And the brief synopsis at the start of video telling us what games you're going to show is is a really nice touch. Whomever suggested this gets a pat on the back. And if this was your idea...even better, right?!
Thanks a lot for the kind words. I actually figured out it might be useful to give you an idea of what’s inside the video since they are pretty long and I don’t want people wasting their time on topics that might not be what they are searching for.
Your channel is perfect for me as I only p[lay London and Caro Kann, if you see my comment, I. would really like to see some similar series on different Gambits..That qould be so exciting.
the videos are good, but it isn't very professional for a teacher to use the lords name in vain. or swearing. you may not be a christian but many of us are., just a thought.

Thanks a lot mate, that’s very humbling!

Thanks a lot! Good odds to see KIA/KID next.
I’ve rewatched this one so many times. It’s like my little primer when I’m rusty on the Caro. 😊
I really hope to catch you streaming sometime. These are amazing and exactly what I play with black (Caro, slav)
Ty for the most excellent video. You are my secret weapon.
Check out the whole series:

I find these videos entertaining and enlightening. Please, keep them coming.
I love your videos, really like how you show your thought process and plan of attack. Really helps me think and plan like you.
Thanks a lot ❤️

such a great person and great content
The way you sacrificed the rook in the last game is just impressive.
Where did you get that shirt/top you’re wearing and what’s it called? Thanks!
Great chess BTW 😁
wow, a totally different pace and content compared to your last videos. I get a bit dizzy with the speed lol
