In episode 5 of the maney lofts flock down series, we get out some of my older young pigeons to start breaking them in, we want to try home them in as i dont think we will be moving soon, because of the current pandemic, but stay safe every one and enjoy your birds!

George from Malta. As far as i know the pigeon fly live between the feather of pigeons. Its the mosquito that spreads pigeon pox and it is usually found on the beak feet and sometimes head section

I heard it’s virtually impossible to lose homing pigeons. If they don’t come back, they’re just “pigeons.”
There is green poop (often means there is something wrong with the birds digestion) in the loft, you should investigate which bird it is and try some medicine, since you do not know what diseases is in the poop.
i think it is because they have been over fed and then gone back to their normal feed now, can be stress also ill watch them the next few days and see

Oh, as regards pox - I found common knowledge info that it may be transmitted though water and mosquitos - so perhaps by mites/pigeon flies too...😕 And it's very contageous and may survive outside the bird's body for months or years. Vaccinations to healthy birds after 5th week of life are advised.

I am on lock down but the feed stores are open. Government doesn't want Pets and livestock to die. But people are buying feed by the pallets and getting more stock in takes a long time. Cheers ya cheeky bastard
ah man thats been happening here and we are not in lock down atm they panic buying everything, even chickens aha!
