Vegeta coming clutch with that shot strong enough to throw Cell off for a second will always be the most underrated moment. All his emotion went into that. His son that he took a whole arc warming up to had been killed. He had to do something about it. Whatever he could.

TBF, without Vegata attacking Cell in the first place, Gohan wouldn't have had his arm rendered useless.
Lets also not forget he is the reason things got worst in the first place. Allowing cell to absorb 18, just to be humilliated by him. Also attacking cell when he clearly didn't have a chance of even making a scratch, causing Gohan to get hurt while trying to save his ass.
The DBZ Kakarot one was amazing as it was already. Adding in the 90's soundtrack made it pure perfection.

Budokai will always be one of my top favorite dbz games, the animation is so impressive for its time. The gameplay is fun and the cutscenes make it feel so immersed.

It’s one of the only dragon ball games that actually shows the story how it happened (before Kakarot came out) despite the fact that fans complain that too many games retell the same story . I think that fact is really funny considering inna couple months the game will turn 20. Tenkaichi kinda covers the story but a lot of cutscenes are subpar/ limited or not even animated just narrated . Besides that though what other games have given us the actual canon story complete with cutscenes?? Burst Limit? Lmao that itself was a Budokai descendant as well lmaoo

everytime i see fighterz i'm reminded how loyal and amazing it all looks and how lucky that Dragon Ball fans got such a faithful and good game for their franchise, Kakarot has incredible cutscenes too.

OG Budokai was literally one of the greatest Xmas gifts I ever got lol. Man I have nostalgia doing this part right before going back to school for the new year.

I like how Kakarot references both the Manga and Anime as in the Manga goku is shown to be in his base form but in the anime he’s a super saiyan. Nice that they made him both
I’m going to be honest, Kakarot did this the best even though seeing Cell’s Kamehameha as green instead of blue feels a little off… other than that one little detail feeling off for me, everything else in this scene for Kakarot felt like it came directly from the anime itself
Personally I like the green perfect kamehameha but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What bothered me is the lack of blood on Gohan's arm and that the Clash immediately starts. But nothing is as worse as FighterZ. Cells face is so bad.

Budokai 1 was so thorough. Showed Trunks getting killed, Vegeta going off and getting smashed, Gohan sacrificing his arm to save Vegeta, the dialogue between Goku and Gohan, shows Goku AND king Kai in other world, Vegeta’s saving shot, even shows Gohan powering down at the end. Literally no misses.
Damn DBZA, I legit found myself thinking Vegeta was gonna shout,”MY BABY BOY!!!” at the beginning 😂 😅
The whole 20 mins were worth it. Dragon ball for life and especially this, my favorite saga. Every single one was epic especially the Kakarot one with Vegeta’s theme oh man so much goosebumps. The details were insane too!
I love the fighterz dramatic finish that smile gohan does before obliterating cell is so clean and the thumb to the sky is one of my favorite shots

Gonna be real, the BT3 one is my favourite in ways outside of the visuals, because hearing Goku talk to Gohan, with him ending off by screaming Explode! as the two beams fire at each other was really damn cool

Budokai one will forever be my favourite looking and sounding cutscenes out of the games. It was so incredibly magical getting that game for Christmas on my ps2 back in the day. I never saw most of the actual episodes so the story helped me understand what happens. Love love love it

Damn. I never realized how hard the Budokai Tenkaichi series dropped the ball on some of the cinematic scenes. Like I realized it was lacking and dialogue always felt a bit unnatural but now I’m really getting that opportunity to analyze it way better with this video.

I believe Ultimate Tenkaichi used the voices from Raging Blast, since they didn't have material from the Kai VAs at that time.

In all honesty, I am super biased towards Burst Limit. It was one of my most played PS3 games back when I was a kid.
But even without that bias, man does this game hold up well considering it's age. The character models are so well crafted.
