Good to see you're having a Go, small steps but they all count. (I hope!) Lovely new gal, a playmate for Daisy - best wishes for speedy healing. 👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙃🐾🦘
Enjoyed watching and seeing your finds. Great to hear you are feeling better. That puppy is so darn cute. Those cleaned up nice. Thanks for sharing and take care.
So glad to see you up and around. Interesting Crystal formations you found. So happy to Daisy and shelby. Please take care of yourself, there is only one me miner. Thank you for the great work.
Looks like you are moving better. The last year's happenings are weak compared to your resilience. When you're on my mind you're in my prayers. Stay safe!
Good to see you moving about. I like the water jet for cleaning - not too pressurized, but sufficient to do the job. Your little family addition is so cute !! Regards to the family and have a blessed day !!
It's nice that you had a project you could work on while you recover. I hope you find your lobster crystal! Daisy is being a good example to your new pup. Those wobbly legs are so fun to watch! Take care and keep on healing. 🤗🙏
Good to see you up. Great pup...was relieved to see Daisy, she will be a great teacher. Nice rocks. Now I’m gonna have to look up “fabric gun” to see why anyone would want to practice cloth abuse😀😀
It’s so good to see you up and moving around again you had a lot of us scared that you were not gonna make it there for a little bit but knowing you you’re tough Canuck you made it and the Mrs. happy your daughter is happy and a lot of your friends are real happy you’re still here so please just be careful God bless you my love God bless you
What can I say? Yes, all your hunts for rocks, minerals and crystals are a bonus in every single video you produce. But what I like the best is your happy face. 😁😁😁 THAT keeps the doctor away (from me).👍👍👍 Stay strong💪 and healthy💙 my best friend🇨🇦🍻🇳🇴
Glad to see you out and about again. Just slow and easy. I love crystals and droozy pockets. All the pretty sparklies. I wish I could find bigger ones is all. Not too sure if and where to look in Michigan. So I guess I have a lot of research to do. Beautiful lab pup.i have 3 labs. Very smart and loyal friends. Love how the textile gun works. Awesome. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Nice collecting. It's nice to be invited to a quarry. You are the second person I have seen use a textile gun. I might have to invest in one. Soooooo glad to see you moving around, just don't over do it. Be safe and get healthy 😷⚒
So glad to see some follow up on this trip - glad to see some of the rocks cleaned. I bought one those fabric guns after seeing one of your videos about using them to clean stone. I need to hook it up and use it! The puppy is adorable (Daisy looked just thrilled). LOL. I’m glad you are improving- you sound better. I look forward to more videos when you feel like producing them. 🤓
Great looking crystals, I can’t help being envious of your access to that quarry. What a treasure store. Had me concerned until you showed it was previous content. So now your doing modelling work for medical devices, nice touch with the pup as a prop, one of those agencies will snap you up.😜😂😂. It is good to see you on the path to recovery. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin. (Recovering)
Back in the saddle.......and a huge smile to boot! Greig I've cut 7 trees since your accident and I thought about you every time. I'm more careful now and not so much on "cruise control ". I hope you find your lobster!
Me Miner you're the Best! I HOPE you are doing better, ya tough ol Canadian miner, I'm only 62 but I have been taking a few tumbles too, its pretty scarey when that happens, Crash boom, bang, some bruises, and scrapes, I'm not as young as I used to be, I was lucky, I didn't wind up in the hospital like you
Putting your hand into the the vug reminded me of the bits and bites commercial. Put your hand in and you never know what you’re gonna get. Hope you’re healing on the outside and the inside!🇨🇦❤️
Well that was a awesome adventure yup for sure widow makers there you need to rent a gas powered saw for cutting them rocks wow some magnificent crystals and what you took home. Awesome ya I forgot about dust to use to having water around when I have been cutting concrete have to say there sure is a lot of crystals there like wow
OK, was starting to wonder what's going on with the new Puppy as I hadn't seen anything about Daisy. SO HAPPY to see her in this video... Hope your healing well.
I live along the Erie Canal in Tonawanda, NY. In the 1950's, they used a lot of the dolestone blasted from the building of the power projects to shore up the banks of the canal. We moved here in 1957. I began rock collecting in 1960 at age 10 and spent hours and hours across the street along the canal bank searching for dogtooth spar, dolomte crystals, sphalerite and fossils, all in the rocks just 100 feet from our front door. In 1965, our neighbors, originally from Niagara on the Lake, invited my family up to visit them at the cottage on a small lake about 15 miles north of Havelock, Ontario. Their family had been going there since 1939. I discovered Bancroft shortly thereafter and begged my Mom to drive us kids to do some collecting there. Went to the MacDonald Mine and was blown away. Rented a cottage on the small Lake (Oak Lake) every year since 1965 until 2020 and Covid. The "old generation" is all gone now and us "kids" have replaced it and have added kids, grandkids and great grand kids. How time has flown. Made many trips to Bancroft during those years adding specimens to my indoor collection, and boulder sized specimens to my Rock Garden. I averaged about 500 pounds of rocks a year, much to the chagrin of my Dad who was always worried the shocks on the station wagon would give out. He was overjoyed when I got my first car, but I ended up packing rocks in not just mine, but also, as usual, in his. I brought even more home. The largest was an estimated 400 pound boulder of Milky Quartz that had fallen off a road cut outside Havelock which took 4 of us to lift into my 1980 Pinto Wagon. In the front, on the passenger seat. The customs inspector only raised his eyebrows and said "Well, that's an unusual passenger you've got there!" It still resides in one of my Rock Gardens, but I'm planning on moving it to another rock garden and a more prominent place along with a 40 pound boulder of Rose Quartz and a similar sized Smokey Quartz from the MacDonald Mine. It's been estimated that over the decades, I have brought home at least 10 tons of rock from Canada! In yet another smaller garden, I have an approximate 200 pound boulder from York River Skarn, mostly green massive Diopside and reddish Grosular and of course calcite with many small Diopside and Garnet crystals embedded in it, all in one big rock. I was very disappointed to find that collecting site 'forbidden' the last time I was there. I so enjoy your videos and get more and more enthused with the rocks I have each time I watch one and hope to get back to Bancroft one day to see what else I can add either to my 'indoor' collection or to my now much, much bigger 'outdoor' collection. I hope you heal well and completely so you can continue to create your videos. Thanks!
SO good to see you engaging in "rock therapy". Keep it up until you are back in the woods and hills. Your fans would find it too sad to get along with out your tutorials. Am sure you have mounds of stash to cut and polish. Love your new baby. Thanks
Hiya Greg, beautiful crystals, one day I'm going to get one of those mini pressure washers, I have some opalized coral fossils that would need to be cleaned with that awesome cleaning tool. Yes sir, that's a beautiful looking little puppy you got right there, it looks like your doing a lot better, I have the same brace you have to wear, and boy it's comfortable in the hot summer, 😁 you might want to get you some corn starch to keep dry. Just a little word of wisdom. Anyway, beautiful crystals, hey everyone loves those beautiful crystals, I know I sure do. 😉 I hope you are having a great time with your little buddies, and stay healthy my friend. And have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😸🐟out!
@@meMiner ya you right about ac's, I use baby power made with corn starch, at first I would get heat rash very itchy, deodorant works too, but my back and sides were the worst.
Okay first off. You look amazing. The last video I was concerned about you. You looked so filled with pain. Nice to see you with color back in your face. The crystals are very nice. The pup sure is growing and Daisy sure looks like she is enjoying the little. Soon you will be back out rock hounding. Keep up the great healing. A thought for you. I use comfy on my wounds as a poultice and as a tea. Its also very excellent for broken bones. Its also called knit bone. I buy it from Amazon. If your interested in trying it I would like to send you some. Peace, freedom and speedy healing.
Nice to hear from you Bailey. Hope you are well. I really hurt myself, but am getting better slowly. I hope to be somewhat mobile soon. I got lucky, it could have been way worse.
For cleaning crystals like that my friend uses ultrasonic cleaner - and he's very proud of it's work. Almost no crystals damage, even on fragile ones, and everything is perfectly cleaned. I didn't tried yet, but it can be helpful.
I worked over some rock piles and got tired of loosing the pieces between the blocks and happened to have a small tarp in the boat and it saved a lot more 😊 Awesome finds ... giggles 🤭 I am curious how many rocks n crystals were found in the washing machine 😂 I’ve done it myself. Clang clang clang ! Angel hugs and blessings to you and yours 🕊🕊🕊🕊
I feel like I'm on a candy high..All I kept saying was sweet..sweet vugs..sweet crystals and sweet Shelby...Did you know, I have a Shelby also...My daughter was named after her great grandpa..yes grandPA..anyway..thanks for sharing good seeing you doing the healing thing...
very nice specimens there mate..Its great to see you outside and enjoying the new puppy as well..I hope Daisey is not too put out from being relegated to 2nd favourite for a little while..
Yep, them chewdiggers eventually grow into Labrador retriever’s, for the first 18 -24 months if they can’t dig it up they chew it, after the break in period they then settle down into a awesome best friend, security system and burglar alarm. Hope you mend up fast, digging season is just around the bend. Take care Miner, saying hi from sunny Florida USA.👍
What you say is gold, except labs tend to be pups until 3-4. ;-) I don't mind. Nothing is better than a big playful dog. I see one doctor today to hear how I am doing. I will start digging as soon as I am told it is OK to do so, even if it hurts a little bit.
Beautiful finds! Very glad to see that you are on the mend. The pup is adorable. Have you picked a name for her or will that reveal be in another video? Please continue to heal ans thank you for a great video
Ok, just hear me out. “Me-Miner” with exoskeleton upgrade. Ease of movement, lift 3 times more than normal, tool pack with hammer drill, stone saw, etc…got any friends developing this looking for some field testing?
meMiner.....great video, so glad to hear that you're feeling better....it's going take a while to heal all your fractures, bruises, etc...! We all wish you well, Soon...!! Down here in New Mexico, USA in the South Western part we have "White Sands National Monument" Federal Parks. It's name is deceiving because it's not "White Sands" it's "Gypsum"...? Very floury light weight powder...! Visitors go there to view the white sands but soon learn its more like rough flour... it gets into places you didn't know you had...! Inside shoes and socks, inside shorts, underwear, Cameras, binoculars, car windows even when rolled up, in your house if you leave your windows open, it's in the air and the wind, it coats your kitchen table with a white fine film all your table tops, counter tops, appliance tops... and people breath this stuff and wonder why they can't breath right...? it's Totally awful.....! So glad I got out of there......in 2012...! The Pup is so cute, Daisy seems to like her/him..? I don't know a whole lot about Rocks, basically Rocks like Quartz, Granite, Feldspar, Mica, Pyrite, Slate, Shale, River Rock, Sand & Gravel. I few more I learned about from watching "Ask Jeff Williams" YT Channel on Finding Gold (AU) and Gold Mining. Sometimes he does a video with a small Geology Class showing & naming Rock Types so we can/or are able to recognize formations and outcroppings... where the AU might exist...? Things related to AU Mining.... I find it quite interesting...... but I'm not a professional of anything.... and a Metal Detector User....... =)
Jeff knows his stuff. I never heard of White Sands Park, but if it is gypsum, then that explains the white and also your complaint. Great comment. Thanks
I have some backlogged footage on my computer. This should give me a chance to edit some for posting. Mostly stuff that requires work to make a story. Only problem is I cannot sit up for long and I still have eyesight problems from the concussion. I am not sure how long it will be before I am back on my feet. I find out how things are progressing in a couple of weeks.
Judging by the amount of grit that fell out of your pockets, I'm guessing your washing machine is pleased to see you taking it easy as well meMiner! those crystals looked gorgeous after you cleaned them up. BTW, did you take the sphalerite crystal? I wouldnt have been able to resist it.
I hope to get some good news from the doctors in a couple of weeks. I don't know right now if the pain is healing and stiff muscles or telling me to stop moving.
Very nice love that pup, after many years of breeding and trainig labs for hunting, I've always prefered the females, seem to listen better,to bad , never mind ,wont go there......
I have only had females. They seem to bond with men better than the males. Never had a complaint with their hunting skills: flushing and retrieving. I won't comment about listening, but will say they can be jealous. Daisy is a bit out of sorts right now, but will get over it.
Wow! Just wow! Mother nature's jewelry!🤗
Very cool finds

meMiner.....great video, so glad to hear that you're feeling better....it's going take a while to heal all your fractures, bruises, etc...!
Thanks
Glad to see you're up and active a bit. I imagine that was back logged footage. Hope you can get back out there soon!
Be very careful and don't rush things too early. If you get hurt again, we won't know one rock from another!
As the keeper of a 3-1/2 year-old Great Pyrenees, if only they could stay little like Shelby forever (minus the messes)!
I might run out of energy. ;-)
@@meMiner I suspect the odds of that are extremely high!
So good to see you getting better!
The look in the pups eyes at the end is classic.🙄
Shelby looks to be settling in real well and Daisy doesn’t seem to mind too much. 🥰
Oooooooooooo some nice vugs. My kids say the Vugs are yelling "I was going to be a geode - SWEAR!"
Smart kids.
@@meMiner too smart lol
Judging by the amount of grit that fell out of your pockets, I'm guessing your washing machine is pleased to see you taking it easy as well meMiner! those crystals looked gorgeous after you cleaned them up. BTW, did you take the sphalerite crystal? I wouldnt have been able to resist it.
I never wash that jacket. Just rain. I didn't take that crystal, as I was hoping for a cluster. It's there for the next guy.
Looks like you're pretty mobile That's a good thing
I hope to get some good news from the doctors in a couple of weeks. I don't know right now if the pain is healing and stiff muscles or telling me to stop moving.
How the heck do you remeber all of those rock names!?!? 😫
I have to make sure I don't step on her. She moves fast
@@meMiner Lol???
@@mollyv8b705 I think I answered the wrong comment. LOL
Daisy is a bit out of sorts right now, but will get over it.
i think its orange calcite, worth even more
