Drawing a Realistic Rose

Two hours of drawing, in a time-lapse video. notice i start with dark colors first. Then i work my way to the lighter colors. In the end, you can use a black ink pen to darken the darkest parts of the flower.

This is really excellent work here. Super deep, saturated values- that red is outstanding. Great level of detail and texture throughout, and I like the very subtle approach to highlight work.
