  • I recently went through an old SMP world I had played with my friends.
We had done a ton of stuff with the new update at the time, 1.19. Exploring new terrain, testing new mechanics, but mostly, just having fun and making memories.
We played the server for what I remember as around a year. We had done everything that our motivation allowed, including bigger houses and auto farms which were milestones for us at the time.
We decided it was time to conquer the Ender Dragon and start the server anew. We did. there were losses along the way, such as one of us losing a full set of netherite, tools and all. Emotions of all kinds running high, we set off to the end cities to gain elytras, just to be able to say we had. We did. we all jumped back into the main portal and quit the game for that night. Ending the server.
It has been somewhere near a year since we ended the server in all its stupid glory.
Every time we end a server and start a new one, I ask for the world download before it's deleted. I save them for times like this when I go back into the worlds in single-player to revisit the old, fun things we've done in the past.
I did this revisiting yesterday and it threw waves of nostalgia at me giving me this idea.
Thanks to the replay mod for, well, existing soIi could make this nostalgic Cinematic.
