"your blade did not made the cut... The judges will tell you why"
Judges: "it didn't cut"
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Lul.
Doran: "ikr"
Well wtf you want them to say? Learn how to forge a real blade?
@@darien4969 I think this is where i say,
r/whoooosh
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how constructive and humble the people on this show are?
But will it KEEL?
I keel you
I was going to say the exact thing but searched the comments to see if someone already said it. XD
Wtf is keel? Is it kill?,
Its literally the most popular running meme of the show@@madnessstar9819, you uncultured swine
It would kill
that apple test guy goes into a hot topic, sees the cashier
"it's definitely a cutter"
That's the best thing I've read
LAIT he looks like Santa Claus and i love it
Lmaooo
A reality show competition where they root for each other? Madness.
they are rooting for the craft :)
Feel bad for him. I understand that he messed it up, but he was such a good sport. Top marks lad.
Jonathan is a good friend of mine. He and his wife are legitimately among the sweetest human beings I have EVER met, and I truly mean that from my heart. They're raising some fine kids, as well. He still makes AMAZING, beautifully crafted knives.
"That poor barrel" lmao
"That poor barrel"
"KILL THAT THING!"
"I'm going to be taking each of your *dirks* and testing them, by *hammering* them *six* *times* *each* into this oil can".
What a great guy...I'd love to see him do this again
Buy Doran’s blade first people it helps a lot
You could say those judges really tested their mettle. 😏
I'll see myself out lol
Way to many uncontrolled variables to be consistent everytime. This is not a true test to see whose blade is superior
robert fitts What would be a more accurate test?
@@pandaman2994 eliminate any user interface. Make all blows/strikes/hits equal in power and force.
It cant be equal if he hits things with-
Knife A: 30lbs of pressure
KnifeB: 15lbs of pressure
Knife C: 65lbs of pressure
None of the results will be the same or consistent
@@pandaman2994 ooooofffffffff burn
Panda Man two death row inmates fighting to death. For reduce sentence lmao
@@dn2ze thatd be the sickest movie though, Netflix release
I'm such a child just chuckling every time they say 'Dirk'
'Overall, your Dirk held up pretty well'
It's funny but shut up
that's what she said
For a second i thought 2:50 was Sméagol!. Lol
I want Phil’s dirk so much. It is a beautiful piece
His blade didn't fail the sharpness test, he clearly didn't swing correctly
Yep i agree
yeah barely caught the first Apple and then missed all the rest
@@Tinker.Studio for real, they are usually accurate but for times like this there NEEDS to be a redo (they check the slow-mo footage before making a decision). I mean even if the blade wasn't as sharp, it started to cut, then he essentially pulled the knife out...
Did you listen to what he said?
The blade was more of a riping hit.
It broke the apple. Not cut and you can see he used a solid bar to guide the blade.
@@marca6597 Did you see where he hit and how he dragged it through weakly? He barely clipped it and then put very minimal force behind the push, allowing the blade to barely even touch the apples. Even if his blade was flawed he didn't swing correctly enough to show it
Let’s not forget about the steel, some steels hold better edges than others.
The guy that was chopped was great. Loved him.
That took on a dark turn 😂
Abio genesis I like his name, Doreen Doreen. LoL
It will keel
Keel

Silence I keel you!!!
Ya think they should test sharpness then durability
@Mac Chambers Thank you that make a bit more sense.
@Mac Chambers is right, they do sharpness second to see how well it keeps an edge after the abuse
but as an attack knife it should b tough enough to defend and stop the assault
Or maybe a test before and after the durability.
@Mac Chambers after a single cut of METAL BARREL
So much user error
@Anonymous Anonymous No they don't. The have a strict criteria dependent on the blade itself and the assigned task. I'm sorry you missed that.
That mustache dude did not use the full mass of the blade for the 2nd dude. Definitely some bias and or user error.
The fruit ninja guy?
You could definitely tell a difference in the way he wielded the 2nd and 3rd blades
@@afk4dyz No, look again. He's using the full blade but it catches on the first apple and rolls back.
I like how he said "POOR BARREL" Then "LETS KILL THIS THING"-DIE!!!!!!! LMAO RIGHT NOW AND SAYING WTF.
2:20. This is why Forged In Fire is my favorite show.
The guy in the middle looks like Macho Man Randy Savage
3:00 that’s the worst apple cut test I’ve seen yet lol
The question is...
Will it *KEEEL*
2:20 Looks like were having apple pie tonight!
These knives can be added to Fruit Ninja.
I have always had my eye on the black tomahawk shaped weapon on the wall behind the table, I really want to see it in action
That is the best pun
What pun, I missed the joke.
Now I need a dirk
I have handled a bunch of real antique dirks & some of them have what amounts to a short 3 finger grip. Historical 1 handed weapons tend toward smaller grips. Like 4 inches is the standard.
The oil can sounds like it’s grunting
Dorin seems like a cool dude
The guy sent home looks like a dwarf like in an anime
The guy with the blade tested last was sweating bullets but I'd say this to him - Your blade took the most damage BUT it was still able to completely function as a weapon and cut. One of the other blades might've taken little damage but it wasn't functional as a weapon because it couldn't cut. You will move forward.
2:43 thank you kind sir
you're up are you ready?
Dirk's Are Made For All Around use that includes shopping making stuff out of wood cutting so a wedge-shaped blade is not that big of an issue now for fighting knife it is but Dirks are typically fighting knife
Please tell them to make a butterfly
So this is where Doran's Blade comes from
I thought it was funny cuz he goes, it’s a fighting knife. But dirks were primarily used on ships
he’s philling nervous
I really wanted the guy to win. He seemed like a good dude
I love how the guy keeps saying "It will kill"... I'm sure all of them can kill lol A pencil can kill.
Head up, Doran i see a master in you yet!
At 2:57 he cut the apples slightly from inside ... He should properly move his hands outwards the apples
You can see the stress
seems he could have put the blade more forward on the 2nd cut test
Lol these people act like they worked their hole life for this knife hahahaha
Can somebody explain me why did they perform sharp test after hitting knifes into the barrels so they had lost their sharpness?
Виктор Задябин because they are kind of looking for a best blade which can maintain its sharpness even after took some serious damage
It's to see which blade maintains sharpness which means it's still useful after being damaged slightly
@Ebiegberi Adonkie exactly and he's asking why they test the sharpness after abusing the blades , it's to see which smith is the best at keeping his weapon in good shape after all the abuse it goes through
thats alot of damage
KEEEEEL
“Snapcat”
Wow what a cool format! Nice show!
Doran is a class act
Barrels!!!!
Doran's blade is real lmao
Me and my dad whatcha you guys so cool
Leave it to the scotts to create a knife that also doubles as a way to open kegs
Doran's Blade
0:30 Poor barrel😢😢😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
4:10 you get it blade did not make the cut * drums play *
The wood should be from timber native to Scotland.
"your handle is relatively small for a Dirk"
These guys know nothing about Dirk's. They have notoriously, historically small handles for their design
Poor barrel..😂😂😂
So this is what andy serkis does in his spare time
Dat poor Berral
Where is the it will keel guy?
Judge: **Proceeds to damage the blade.
Judge: Sorry your blade didn’t make it.
Contestant: Why?
Judge: It is damaged.
I work for a company that we have these in stock by the hundreds. Not the blade the so called barrel.. It's not a barrel it is a drum.. Black iron steel drum to be exact. Hope to see if it WILL CUT
Look at 2:21 thats so satisfying
THAT POOR BARREL WHAT DID IT EVEN DO TO YOU HUH
they didnt said about the keel..
But will it KEEL
Isn't that quite dangerous to give them a knife when you're telling them they're eliminated?
The real question is does it keel?
Your dirk has a small handle
Wait so do they loose their weapon
"Poor barrel"
Those poor barrels
I’m Scottish and I like dirks
I wish Phill was my uncle.
But will it keel?
Hey whats the name of the judge guy doing the first test?
I think its Bill
I thought it was drink
2:20 fruit ninja wants to know your location
None of them keel?
Nobody is going to hammer a knife into a barrel in real life
he should be called Durin 👍 fun guy sadly he lost
But it will keel
Hammering my dirk 6 times?
1:04 this guy
Ah, he said dirks...
Sec ago: 'Poor barrel' later: 'Kill that thing!' Woh, failure at restoring faith in humanity from barrel families
Yet again another Smith was disqualified thanks to human error
Why do you do the durability test before the sharpness test
To see how well the blade held up during the durability tests and how well it kept its edge
Those apples should be loos and the swing should be done by some kind of machine, that way all blades should have equal chance performing. Old guy cant hit with same force, direction and angle everytime.
