People often think that Lupus patients don’t exercise because they are lazy - it’s so annoying and disrespectful; overwhelming fatigue is why we don’t exercise. We are lucky to get out of the bed. I feel guilty for not being able to exercise, but I feel angry when a selfish ass person with no health issues ‘suggests’ that if I just exercise I wouldn’t have these problems. A person with lupus knows when the window for exercise is open or nailed shut. The world has been focusing on mental health, which is very important - however, I hope focusing on kindness takes the world by storm soon.

I found walking helped fatigue & improved my health significantly. The challenge is getting started and being consistent.

I got a flare up from doing excercise, but I was pushing my self to do more reps.

Great info. It's unfortunate that someone in the audience felt the need to keep their whinny and distracting child in the room. VERY ANNOYING and shame on that person!!!

I am sorry that this has affected your experience of this video. We do request that parents take their children outside if they become restless. It is not possible to exclude children from attending events like this without also excluding a number of people who benefit greatly from coming along. Lupus is a disease primarily affecting women and often being diagnosed in the childbearing years.

The child in the background is very disruptive. Could not concentrate on the message that was coming across. Too bad.

How rude to allow a child talk, and be disruptive through the talk!
    Annoying.... 😡
