Awesome video man! I only play that C/G with moving the pinky up when I’m playing C shapes. Especially if I’m going back and forth between the C and F chords since I play my F like the F/C chord.
Yeah same here - mostly when I'm playing C shapes...but sometimes to give the G shapes a little bit more of a "bass-y" feel or if the song is building, I throw in the open G, this chunky C/G chord, and the slide up D chord. It gives a nice different feel to those G chords. Hope you're doing well bro!
