Honestly, I’m kinda disappointed by how many people don’t seem catch that fact about his character. This song does a great job of revealing his true colors while still keeping the persona Alastor wants to project.

I love this line in the song so much. It gives me a feeling of dread and awe... imagine encountering him for the first time, this well-dressed, thin man who looks like they shouldn't even be alive greeting you with a wicked smile and haunting glare appearing before you when you are most desperate... at the time, you were glad, but once the deal was made, but now you are a slave to this chuckling showman who treats you like a toy. Must be so disheartening when you realize you gave your soul away to someone who was as human as you were, makes me feel sympathy for husker.
