Have you played On Mars? Did you enjoy it?
Yep I have! But only on TTS and Tabletopia. The physical game is too expensive where I live. Love it nonetheless. Think the theme is great, and the variability from game to game is fantastic. Maybe one day I'll get my hands on a copy!
This is on my list of wants and i notice someone else on here has been positive about game variability which is paramount for me.
Oh and on discussion about choc' bars it gotta' be a picnic or a bar six.
I did and my brain exploded…. Played Lisboa, Gallerist, and Vinhos and really enjoyed them… need to give On Mars another try
Hello, Paul. Hope you're well. I've just recently discovered your channel. I think you do an excellent job presenting and teaching boardgames and whenever i'm curious about a game your channel is the first place i go to. Even though I'm 46, i'm a complete beginner to the hobby. I'm looking to get my first Lacerda, i love the theme of this game but, I'll be playing solo, there's no one close to me with the slightest interest in boardgames. So, right now, I'm completely lost as to which Lacerda to get for my solo evenings. So, i'd really appreciate a few of your thoughts on this. I don't want to waste your time so, could you please tell me your opinion on which Lacerda to get for solo play? Production and component quality wise, are all Lacerda's games high standard? I love everything about On Mars but, as i found out in your solo playthrough on Tabletopia, its solo mode is not the one you enjoy the most. In any case, if you can't find the time to reply, i'll totally understand and hey, no hard feelings whatsoever! Thank you so, so much for your time and thank you for these playthrough videos, i really enjoy them. Take care out there and stay safe.

Watched the whole thing. I was 2 playering against myself, but watching this I realized how many mistakes I was doing. I’m looking forward to playing against myself tomorrow morning and then I’ll try the solo variant.

I know I’m quite late to watching this but at 2:57:36 you talk about how yellow would’ve won if they took their executive action, but really yellow still wouldn’t have won because they didn’t subtract their 6 points from building an oxygen building and taking back that whole action to build a shelter instead.
At 2:52:04 he gains 6 points. And at 2:52:48 he walks that action back but never subtracts those 6 points earned

Also, I'm glad Im not the only one who needs to relearn games.
Not 100% sure but I think that you might have forgotten to subtract the six points yellow got for building that LSS oxygen building that he then reversed to do the contract instead which would have changed the final score.

How come when you guys took the Shuttle you didn't take back your workers on that side? Like at 22:30 when purple went to the Colony Side he didn't get back his worker. Is that not how you get workers off the red action spaces?
2:30:00 Actually you cannot use the Bot to claim the research tile rewards
You can with the Recycling Bots card executive action which was used.
38:28 - I think if you don't have minerals, you can't do the action even if get minerals as benefit afterwards. And yellow player place too many workers in working area, you can do 2 upgrades if place colonist, and one more other workers, so this situation 5 upgrades, not 4, he does. Right?
I think he already has a mineral
1:16:00 doesn't yellow have to pay for the upgrades?
