Rigilene boning should be finished at the ends by burning with a candle, sewing fabric pieces into it at the ends to stop it from fraying n piercing through the lining into the clients body
Hello ma'am, wonderful tutorial What of I'm padding my skirt and I'm not making it a basque waist What if it's another design for the upper part of the skirt how do I intend to cut the front part for the skirt in a way that the hip pad won't be affected I don't know if you understand my question to tho...
The hip pad normally should be starting from 2 inches below the waist line of the skirt, then after that whatever style you are using for the waist, just keep in mind it should not affect your hip pad. I hope that answers your question
Thank you so much for this video I’ve been trying to learn , please I noticed some spaces on the fabric after you’ve already drafted the pattern and placed on it , please why those spaces ?
Ma thanks for this video….my question here is will the boning reach the end part and not the half length so as to be able to see the skirt part to the half length without breaking needle or the boning won’t get to the end of the corset?

What i don't like is using another type of picture on display and teaching a different type of corset. From your display picture the center front is deep with mesh but your tutorial didn't explain that part
This tutorial is on 'inbuilt corset' which I explained very well, if you want a tutorial on that style(neckline), you should just make a request ma and I'll do that, Thanks.

From the draft, you deducted 3inches from the front waist, did you snatch the same 3 inches from the skirt?
Yes, I cut my skirt with the waist measurement I want to snatch it to not my actual waist, hope you get?
The 3 inches deduction, is it only for the front bcoz I thought both the back an front waistline is supposed to be the same to avoid excesses ma'am
