No I didn't deduct apart from removing my zipper allowance and the half inches on the center back. And no it was not fitted at the back because I didn't replace the dart I removed
I enjoy your class so much thanks so much. Pls do you have online classes especially on corset if you do please send me a link I will like to join thanks
That's why I cut the waist of my skirt with my snatched waist measurement instead of the actual waist, so after lacing and zipping the skirt up, it's exact
Please ma..... I want to attach my in-built corset to a a skirt part to make a dress When drafting the skirt part of the dress do i use the snatched waist measurement or my original waist measurement
When drafting my skirt pattern for an inbuilt corset gown, I use the snatched waistline of the top after sewing it to cut the skirt then add sewing allowance and enough zipper allowance, like 2" incase later on I want to free the waistline. Then if you want to free it later, you just move the zipper on the waist. Hope you grab?
You can use this method, but at the side part of the cup, instead of 1" you should increase it to 2" because of the fullness of the bust. Before you make it on the main fabric, you should try it out with paper/ not useful fabric.
It's nice to have you, Half Length is from the shoulder of the person to the tiny part of the waist, while full length is the length of the gown/outfit you are making.
I took 3 inches from the top length line on the front pattern to get the curved bottom. Then I just ruled where the 3 inches stops to the back pattern as my back length. Hope that answers your question?
Please ma..... The snatching part... You took out 1.5 inches on both sides Making it 3 inches..... Remember this paper is on fold so when you open up the paper is that not 6 inches?
Please ma still on the snatching part...the point where you measured what was left after taking all your measurements so that you can snatch....if one wants to snatch by 4 inches what is going to be the dart intake on both sides?
@@VeesTREND-gi8jm You can take 1" on fold for the front and also the back so when you open it up will make it 2", 2inches at the front and back will sum up the 4" you want to snatch and remember that these darts are not replaced in the pattern although you should add allowance in case you change your mind for the snatch.
Honestly you are good your drafting is very detailed kudos to you but you lost me at some point cus your explanation suddenly became slower than the drafting and I lost it around the cup area
I know it's like every one of the videos I want to watch all are from somebody with a foreign accent and it's hard for me to understand what they're saying when they talk so fast

I'm working on the download part, and for the online class, not yet.
Beautiful work!
Did you deduct from the burst and hip? If not, if you had made it the exact measurements, won’t the lace up be fitted at the back?
No I didn't deduct apart from removing my zipper allowance and the half inches on the center back. And no it was not fitted at the back because I didn't replace the dart I removed
But if you lace it up really tight, then it can come together.
I didn't understand ma
Thanks
This is the most simplified version of corset and waist snatching I have ever seen
Weldone. Please did u use the actual waisr measurement for the back or the snatched one

But honestly I didn't get the video clear, based on the waist snatching,
Thanks
Thanks dearie 🥰
What about skirt part it tend to be bigger after lacing
That's why I cut the waist of my skirt with my snatched waist measurement instead of the actual waist, so after lacing and zipping the skirt up, it's exact
How do you get the snatched waist measurement?

Pls where's d link to d sowing video
Plz how did u do d middle of back dat z not at d same line with d back curve how many inches did you come down with to cuv it
The same 3 inches that was used at the front to curve it is what I used at the back that's if you're talking about the hemline.
And can I use dis method for bust 47

What is the half and full length? Sorry I am new to this channel and sewing

Pls dear why is the front longer than the back?

Tank u for dis tutorial ma pls ma y did u nt subtract frm d back for d lace up back
It's a matter of choice, you can choose to subtract one inch at the back, but the snatching at the front already made the back open.
Thank you ma, pls do the tutorial on how to sew it
Video will be coming soon, pls do subscribe and turn on notification when the video drops
Thank you
Please ma..... The snatching part... You took out 1.5 inches on both sides Making it 3 inches..... Remember this paper is on fold so when you open up the paper is that not 6 inches?
Please throw more light I really don't understand
No it's 1.5" on fold making it 3 when you open it up
Will make a more detailed inbuilt corset tutorial soon, stay updated
Please ma still on the snatching part...the point where you measured what was left after taking all your measurements so that you can snatch....if one wants to snatch by 4 inches what is going to be the dart intake on both sides?
