I have a S22U and decided to order the S25U through samsung. The phone with double memory (512gb) was USD$1299 less $600 for my S22U trade in. I then got the samsung credits where i got 2 cases, 2 trackers and the 10,000mah 25 watt charger for free. All in with 10.25% tax it was $780, which to me is a fair/good deal for my older phone. I usually upgrade every 3 years, so this is the time. It arrives on Tuesday and im looking forward to it.
@thomasusheriii971 yeah I might order the 1tb but it says delivery is from the 22nd Feb. Cba waiting too long but given how cheap it is, it's a no brainer to get the 1tb, it will hold value, and it's only 60 quid more after tcb
The Samsung Galaxy S23's specifications do not include a 10x optical zoom camera, and Bluetooth support for the S Pen is absent; this omission was NOT highlighted. This lack of features constitutes a significant drawback for potential upgrades, and we must address the industry trend of removing features while maintaining pricing.
I plan to retain my S23 Ultra for at least another year; the removal of S Pen Bluetooth functionality by Samsung has eliminated its appeal, and the incremental improvements over the S23 Ultra are insufficient to justify an upgrade.
I was thinking the same thing, why upgrade from the s23 ultra if it is still perfect snd basically the same? Well, I received my s25 Ultra 2 days ago and so far it has exceeded my expectations. It feels so polished, it feels like all the minor flaws the s23 Ultra had have been fixed. The speed difference is very noticeable in just day to day tasks. Plus $750 trade in value for a 2 year old phone, free storage upgrade, and free earbuds, cant really beat that deal in the US.
Nice video but I'm sticking on my S23Ultra! You forgot to mention that telephoto is far superior as it is a 10x optical on S23U and only 5x on S25U! Given it has more megapixels, the compression cannot be the same they just croppin
@crisjj2 its depend of what you call better! If you are saying resolution wise, you are right, but compression wise + clarity there is no comparison in my option
Personally with my s23U anything 10x and past I don't really use as a proper camera, mostly just to read things far away 5-9.9 is a very useful range. One of the only real uses I've found with the 10x is concert videos but the low light quality suck far away so I wouldn't be shocked if the s25U keeps up
Great content. I upgraded from my s23 ultra to my s24 ultra a month ago. I'm so glad I did. I still have all the Bluetooth functionality. And I didn't have to get rid of the square edges that I've been so used to since the note10+ and as for comfort, my phone goes into a case as soon as I get it. And also a screen protector. I know it messes with the anti reflective coating, but it's a small price to pay for not getting scratches big or small.
I upgraded from the S23 Ultra to the S25 Ultra. I haven't received it yet, but I got a phone case, battery bank, and recharger, all for $542. It would be crazy not to upgrade at that price.
@MaxDrougge lol nope, just went into my Samsung shop, traded my S23 Ultra in. Believe me, I was so shocked; I thought it was a glitch, so I waited, then closed my app, refreshed my phone, erased the details, then started the process over, and it came out to 542 again with the three accessories.
@SharonAnn1999 The biggest thing that sold me was the anti-glare screen. I drive for Uber, and that light makes it so hard to see my screen when trying to look at my GPS directions.
@@jeffreywilliamsakacrazyjoe753 Oh well, if you traded in your phone then you paid more than 542. It's just a good way for them into making you feel you get the phone cheaper.
The S24 U has a more scratch resistant screen than the S25 U (Jerry Rig), and the difference in display quality between the S24 U and S25 U is miniscule, so...
I've just got a new s23 ultra , and im loving it all these so-called "upgrades" aren't worth the huge price difference, plus you get a downgraded S-pen
The trade in program is a great opportunity to upgrade on a discount, BUT only if you live in the USA. In EU, the trade in program is a mockery for most of the EU countries. For example, Sammy is offering me 400e for my 2 year old S23U 512Gb in mint condition. Not to mention the price for the S25U 512GB (which is the top model btw, we do not have the 1Tb version here at all) is almost 1500e. Also, the upgrades, excluding the newer SoC (which is a given in every new generation), are almost non existent. Rounded corners (a welcome change) and new UW camera, and that's it! Some ppl will give excuses for Samsung. But the honest truth is - they "focused" on software and AI simply because that is way cheaper than investing millions of $$ into R&D to provide the customers real HW upgrades like new camera sensors (main cam + telephoto + periscope), better display, bigger battery, faster wired and wireless charging, better speakers, etc. I'm gonna gladly keep my S23U for another year, no real reasons to upgrade for me. Soon OneUI 7 will land and i will have 98% of new features. SD 8gen2 is more than capable to run anything for years to come.
The problem is for 99 percent poeple all this stuff irellevant, fast processor, who cares actually, we do use cameras mainly webmovies music, and none of them is upgraded(ok Utrawide=however the mian sensor is used as a primar camera) so this is reallity, I was thinking of UPGRADE, but after this video, i Will keep my S23U.
The real reason to upgrade is gaming performance...especially on those demanding games. I dont plan mobile games at all these days, the S23 Ultra is still very snappy and has a great camera etc..
Excellent comparison. Love the purchase walkthrough! I am hoping for a larger screen Fold before upgrading my S23 Ultra. Wish the other cameras were upgraded besides just the wide angle...
"Significantly more powerful and efficient", maybe on paper, but even battery drain tests revealed it to last ~60 minutes more, and ~30 minutes more than the S24U. Now if you factor in the age of the S23U battery, it's definitely not "significantly" better in this department, it would've been better if they at least increased the battery size, and even update the charger to a 65W+ unit. Those multiscore points mean nothing to the average user, as MC performance will only come into play if you're a heavy gamer or an editor, and those storage scores will definitely not be noticed by the average user. The stability numbers are terrible for such an "efficient" phone, even with a larger vapour chamber, so still room for improvement there, especially when compared to other equivalent spec'd Android phones. This so-called "doubling of the performance" never translates to real-world use, it's just another marketing gimmick. This is more of a refinement, so if your S23U is running fine, I personally wouldn't upgrade unless you're coming from an S22 and below. Samsung used to really add features many years ago, now they're just mimicking Apple at this point, so no "huge" upgrade between these 2 phones.
@@jafri It's a money saving measure. They probably had the button on the pens planning on the bluetooth function. But there was something with the wireless charging that was interferring with the bluetooth, so they removed it. Instead of making new pens, they opted to just keep the button.

I'm disappointed that they took away Bluetooth capability for the pen. I'll wait to see if they bring the capability back on the next phone. I don't understand removing that capability while increasing price on phone
I will not upgrade only because I need that 10x zoom. The S23U beat the S24U last year in that area, and should beat the S25U in the same fashion.. I think taking away the Bluetooth is a big no for me. Also, why are people talking about the curve display when you can barely feel it with a case on. The screen sits flush with the case. I doubt real S23U users will upgrade if they didn't jump on the S24U.
I've had the s20 Ultra, s21 ultra and current have the s23 ultra. Im able to upgrade for 200 bucks and it's a no brainer for me. I hate the sharp corners on the s23 and hate curved screens. For me this was a needed upgrade because my 5 year old hogs the TV so I am increasingly more phone dependent these days and have no time for media consumption so these improvements are very welcome 2 me and I basically got a watch 7 for free.
I was Trading-In my beloved S23U for the new S25U. Highlights for me are the new design, the 6.9" display, the improved anti-reflection and the Snapdragon 8 Elite with its super speed. The pre-order discounts and upgrades were very welcome to make the buy decision easier. I cant wait to have it in my hands :)
I have s21 ultra so it'll be a big improvement. My battery life is garbage now. Have to change at least twice a day and I don't use it a ton throughout the day.
Guys don't listen to this fraud Sakitech. You know he is Samsung agent and broker. He will try to convince you to buy S25 ultra. If you own S23 Ultra, no need to worry. Your phone is still way far Superior and powerful. No need to listen to his bullshit and upgrade. Don't be fooled.
Saki love ya man. You're very knowledgeable when it comes to the Samsung ultra series. Ive used your links for many things including upgrading to to s21 ultra and then the s23 ulra. Its real hard for us to make the switch to this next gen s25 ultra. We love the Bluetooth spen features and the 10x optical zoom. The extra speed, latest guerilla glass and more memory isn't enough for many of us to upgrade. Unfortunately Samsung did it to themselves they've slowly become Apple. Taking away features removable battery, phone jack, charging brick, optical zoom spen features ect. You should be communicating with Samsung telling them how much they've screwed up this time you're losing some credibility by not being objective. Michael Fisher Mr Mobile which ive been following since the windows phone days is objective and also agrees that Samsung missed the boat on this one. It's the ULTRA SERIES they should be jamming more features in not removing them!
the problem lies in the fact that samsung phones dont stay as sharp as new for very long. They start to show age pretty fast i terms of performance etc, so thats why the s25u might feel like a proper upgrade. Truth is that the s25u is going to feel the same in comparison to the s27u in a few years
Yes, the 25 may be faster and have features my 23 does not have, but still not buying into the sales pitch as my 23 still works great. Figure in tax, screen protector, good case and you're up to $700. It's always nice to buy the latest and greatest but after a month you're just holding a cell that's not worth it IMO! While I appreciate your knowledge, tip, tricks, etc., I'm not going spend money on a whim so others profit. I'll wait another year or two until support for my phone ends. Cheers!
As Samsung never value EU customers only USA S25u upgrade from S22u is €979 without any free credit or freebies ! Don't know if the price in USA include TAX or not?

Yup, I think AT&T is also giving two hundred dollars off, but it's gonna spread out throughout the 36-month contract. Which is equivalent to $5 off a month on your phone bill
Help me Saki bro, I have s23U and got an offer of tradein around almost 50% off plus discount, free upgrade to 512GB and Watch 7. Is that enough to upgrade?
Have S22 Ultra. S25 Ultra copycat iPhone with curved corners. Squared Corners looks more professional and classy. Not enough improvements for me to upgrade. Will keep my s22 Ultra Graphite for another 2-3 yrs. Maybe Samsung will have enough improvements worth upgrading 💯
Except T-Mobile let me finance the $500+ and only made me pay the sales tax up front to ship the phone with my S23 Ultra trade-in. My two Samsung tablets are better to trade-in for upgrading with Samsung directly, not my phone and Samsung watch.

Please do a S22U, I still have a S22U Exynos version
I have them both, listen to him. This is a big difference and you know it once you start to really playing with everything. Plus next year the deal won't be as sweet.
The Real Upgrade ❎
The Real Downgrade ✅
For me this was a needed upgrade because my 5 year old hogs the TV so I am increasingly more phone dependent these days and have no time for media consumption so these improvements are very welcome 2 me and I basically got a watch 7 for free.
I was Trading-In my beloved S23U for the new S25U. Highlights for me are the new design, the 6.9" display, the improved anti-reflection and the Snapdragon 8 Elite with its super speed. The pre-order discounts and upgrades were very welcome to make the buy decision easier. I cant wait to have it in my hands :)
Power users and gamers this is a nice jump.
S22 ultra, exynos???
honestly ive had my s23 ultra for 2yrs. decide to get the s25 ultra. 100% worth the upgrade
I tried this deal and it got me down to $299 for the S25U, But not with my current Verizon plan. Deal killer!
S23u anyday
the problem lies in the fact that samsung phones dont stay as sharp as new for very long. They start to show age pretty fast i terms of performance etc, so thats why the s25u might feel like a proper upgrade. Truth is that the s25u is going to feel the same in comparison to the s27u in a few years
Finally an ultra with out a stupid curve on screen and edges
So ehat is the difference between the s25 ultra.vs s24 ultra ??

He just posted this video 4 days ago.
Cheers!
Your link is not working..one in description. For lowest rate
As Samsung never value EU customers only USA S25u upgrade from S22u is €979 without any free credit or freebies ! Don't know if the price in USA include TAX or not?
I am seeing some models doesn't have 5g Antenna (that's what I believe is) on the left side. Any idea why is that?
Please stop with the pandering if you have a s24 ultra or even an s23 ultra it's not worth upgrading I ordered the s25 ultra and I have an s24 ultra and it ain't worth it. I'm keeping my s24 ultra even with the so-called saving that Samsung is offering isn't worth it.
What I don't understand is at the beginning of all your videos and I like your videos but you keep trying to sell us on how great the s25 ultra is and why we should upgrade to it You even going as far as walking us through the website it's not worth it.
Samsung is the only company that gives you this much, not the fruit logo company. I have Samsung S23 Ultra, and even though Samsung S25 Ultra is a very powerful phone, I will keep Samsung S23 Ultra for now.
I have the s23 plus, i started the trade in process. I got $1,300 off the 25 ultra via AT&T. I cant pass up a good trade in ...
Yup, I think AT&T is also giving two hundred dollars off, but it's gonna spread out throughout the 36-month contract. Which is equivalent to $5 off a month on your phone bill
@@DavidPerez-q2r lol that's nothing, they just make it sound good
@@Keef_88 it's better than nothing
@@Keef_88 i bought the unlocked version for 470 after tax and got a 30/month unlimited plan from Visible even has hotspot
Nice Video Sir
Obviously you are talking about the USA.. what is the situation in the UK?
Thanks for the video. I pulled the trigger and trading my s23 ultra 4 the 25.
Just received my S25 Ultra Jetblack 1 TB
It's worth the upgrade from a S22 Ultra 1 TB
My wife is happy with the free Watch 7
I really miss the 10x optical zoom!
Staying with S23 Ultra until manufacturers are forced to make batteries easily replaceable. (2027)
Why do you need to replace your battery?
Help me Saki bro, I have s23U and got an offer of tradein around almost 50% off plus discount, free upgrade to 512GB and Watch 7. Is that enough to upgrade?
No. S25u doesn't look premium.
@free_soul9154 you havent seen it in actual.
Yes
@@free_soul9154 bullshit.
RUclipsrs gets a paid money to promote new devices so don't get trap with these shits .. Save ur money 💰
Except T-Mobile let me finance the $500+ and only made me pay the sales tax up front to ship the phone with my S23 Ultra trade-in. My two Samsung tablets are better to trade-in for upgrading with Samsung directly, not my phone and Samsung watch.
Shamed they removed the bluetooth feature on Spen, sucks you can't take photos & selfies anymore like my S23 did... 🙃🙃🙃
Jerry Rig Everything has proven that the S24 U has a more scratch resistant screen than the S25 U.
Another downgrade for the S25 U...
I wish you'd do an S22U video also.
When Android 16 drops you will get it months after the 2026 devices. Samsung is a good brand but, thank you.
You sure are trying very hard to speak English like an American but you have a very strong Indian accent. Why not stick to your roots and speak naturally.
TBH S23U looks "drastically" better 👍😎🔥
My s21 plus after 3 and a half years has 3-4 green lines suddenly came up after exactly 3 years , the body of the phone has no scratches, always used a case.
They want u to upgrade otherwise those lines will show up after a year and they wont fix it for free like oneplus and vivo(they fixed my wifes x80 for free)
Is this the MyBMW app widget on your S25 ULTRA?
Just thinking of upgrading my s23 ultra to this. Decent trade in here in the UK.
And S23 Ultra is still very fast indeed, so why all the muscles, if you don't use AI more than mayby 1 or 2 times a week? If you just want a skilled phone for SMS, Facebook, mail and banking, you will not notice any performace difference. It's like buying the same car over and over.
Some of these reviewers are trying to hard to push this thing. If its that good, it doesn't need the push.
Hello what better s23U vs s25 +???
I do not see anything sp important for anyone to go from s23 to a 25. If your phone works then keep it.
Going from s20+
To s25 ultra or oneplus13
What should I do?.......worth it?
I have an iphone 14 pro max…changing up and upgrading to S25U
Inshallah sooner or later i will definitely upgrade from s23 ultra to s25 ultra but one bad issue is that i am not in usa so the pre order benefits are worse here not as is US but sooner or later
But should u wait for s26 ultra
Sorry but not overwhelmed by the S25 Ultra. Besides I don't get those deals, I have to sell my phone. Anyway Samsung are getting lazy, unless they come up with a phone that has the 'wow' factor I'm hanging on to my S 23 U. We're all tech erds here...takes a lot to impress us 😂 😂
WHY DID SAMSUNG TAKE AWAY THE MESSENGER APP THAT COMES INSTALLED 🤔
what ram is in the s23 ultra?
12 gb
@@marrakech20051 i wanted to know which one he was testing. i have 8gb in my 23 ultra. either way, i just ordered it the way he said too.....PLUS a extra $50 reward credit for using my best buy card to pay for it.
Guys need some suggestions. I am using s23u 512gb and i got s25u 256 gb for 524 canadian dollars. Including tax. I my storage usage in s23u is around 80gb. What do you think should i grab or return?
see jerry rig. samsung has scimpt on the 25. cheap fake rinngs on the cameras and frond glass is also a down grade
Why the s25 ultra looks so little compare to the note 20 ultra? Why the note 20 ultra got real bright vibrant colors and the s25 ultra look pale? Like the note 20 ultra looks way better watching RUclips with bright colors and this s25 looks like trash compare to the note smh
S23 better not going to up grade yet,,there's nothing exciting about the s25 an speed hardly noticeable an 23s has a better camera
What should a first time buyer should do?
S23 Ultra or S25 Ultra?
S23
It depends on your budget.
You shouldn't even upgrade from the s22 ultra
sounds louder but still tinny not enough bass but still from one
