- Building a casting mold for the bridge of the CNC machine with laminated boards; Threaded inserts for the linear guides, ballscrews, stepper mounting and the holes for the connection to the first part, the base. A granite board underneath provides the flatness. Inside edges are sealed with silicon and the inner faces are coated with separating wax.
Volume ca: 75 liter

I have my focus on making the machine. Everything takes twice as long if you record cut and upload a video in high quality. It is why i stoped making videos.

:) Epoxidharz RESINPAL 2401 , hardener; 90 minutes treatment 24 hours hardening at ambient temperature. The curing reaction produces heat! it deformed my first wooden casting mold and it cured much faster, after the 90 min it took only 7 hours to cure because it raised up to 65 degree C temperature. Hello!, you can get mass and rigidity with reinforced concrete too but you wont have the advantage of the damping properties from the relative soft epoxy resin in a wide spectrum of frequencies. This damping effect result in much better surface quality with all feeds and speeds.
Dont use concrete. Concrete takes years (decades) to fully cure. its constantly moving while curing. you wont get any stable precision with a machine made of concrete.
Interesting, i have to check this once i modify (disassemble) the machine.

Das meiste davon ist selbsterklärend, aber ich habe mich gefragt, um Minute 0:48 benutzt du eine Handbohrmaschine mit etwas, das aussieht wie ein Aluminiumaufsatz, um zu bohren. Könnte ich Sie fragen, was die Namensmarke dieser Anlage ist? (Oder wie es gerade heißt?)
Danke!, ich verwende ein Mobiler Bohrständer oder eine Bohrmaschinenführung bei der ich die Auflage mit dicken Platten aufgedoppelt habe damit ich den langen Bohrer verwenden konnte.

Greetings. Is there a 3d model of the second part of the machine (not the base)?
What kind of accuracy and tolerance this CNC machine can hold? How were you able to get the threaded holes on the bolts where the epoxy is filled? Did you use a lathe to make the hole and thread the bolts?
These inserts are Bolts modifide on the lathe with a (id)thread on its tip. Accuracy is good,but it can be much better , i have to service the machine and reset the gage on the ballbearing threads, and some minior issuse. Also,
