My wife was one of the butterflies in the Electrical Parade that year (no way of knowing if she's in this footage, as the butterflies are too dark to identify). They powered those lights that looked like wings by having the dancer carry a car battery in a back pack. Her foot went into one of the trolley tracks and with that extra weight on her back, her ankle strained. She had a few days off to heal and used them to go hear my band. That's how we met, and we're still married!
