I honestly would’ve thought Wilton Manors was definitely #1 & #2 would’ve been Orlando. Kinda surprised Tampa & St. Pete, since I live in South Florida & the whole tri-county/Miami area has a HUGE gay culture, especially in Broward/Ft. Lauderdale (hence Wilton Manors)
Yeah, Orland has a good HRC MEI rating (100). It's just slightly on the more/too expensive side regarding affordability. With all the tourism and tourism jobs, that makes sense. The higher average and median incomes in Wilton Manors really helped it get the #2 spot.
Mostly millennials. The generation after me. I love them but I always had to live in the actual area. I lived in Wilton manors in 2012, in a gay high-rise building. All the bars were located on that street in addition to hamburger Mary’s also a Home Depot. I was only there a year and had to leave when my father got ill in 2013. Wilton manors is actually considered Fort Lauderdale. It’s a gay neighborhood in the middle of it all. I wish I was single then., in a very bad relationship, and did not get to experience single life of going to the bars. Also for those traveling Sebastian Beach is a great place to vacation walking distance to the beach. There are many gay motels gathered in one specific area and you will always find a group of gay guys drinking by the pool… I met so many great out-of-town people that way it’s just a couple of miles away from Wilton manors.
Ybor City, a neighborhood of Tampa, is pronounced Ee-bor -not Why-bor. For best city to live in Florida my vote goes to Hollywood, which is located right smack between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. This beautiful town scores 100 on the HRC scale, has it's own LGBTQ organization (My Hollywood Pride) and it's own Pride celebration.
We wouldn't do more than dabble in crypto right now. It's a lot like the early 2000s when online businesses were trying to figure out what online business meant - meaning there will be a lot of volatility with bumps and bruises for investors along the way. It'll eventually work itself out, but we don't want to risk our portfolio that much.
YALL DOING THE LORDS WORK
