AWESOME. Do you have a can holder design? As in can of peas/carrots/beans etc.? I'd like to make one for my son's garage.
ive been wanting to build a can food sled too for the cabinet =]
😂
I love things like this. Meaning, I love taking basically “nothing” and making it into something desirable.
Keep ‘‘em coming. Thank you sir.
Unless you value your time at $25 per hour you better make 3 per hour. Lol. Which you could easily do. I’ve been making these ladders as spice racks for years outta scraps.
Very cool video sir. Thanks.
Thanks Ronnie for sharing your projects, I need to build a latter for my chicken coop
Good job and project thx for sharing enjoyed it I sold with no added decorations for $7 but my wife jazzed them up and we sold them for $25
That's great! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the simple yet very helpful and educational videos. I love your cut and dry to the point style! :)
This is great. I am trying to “purge my hoard”. I have so much scrap material. I hate to throw it out (burn pile). And I am looking for ideas. Especially for a bunch of the 2x4 cut offs that I have. So your playlist is perfect.
It cost me £2000.00 to buy the tools and materials ! Should start making a profit in 2035
You can do this with cheap tools.
Same!
😂😂😂😂
The great video, brother Ronnie, keep up the good work
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing good build
Glad you like it!
That's great! 😁
Sure, if you consider your labour, time, and tools are worth zero dollars, Then i guess the profit can be that high.
Great video! Thanks for sharing! Will probably pick up the plans from your Etsy store!
Thanks for watching! The private video that comes with the plans goes into great detail on how to build the ladder, the angle jig, and I even show an assembly jig I built to batch these out fast
@@RonniesWorkshop awesome!!!
Would put something on the feet to stip it slipping when a towel is yanked out of it.
Good video.
Thank you once again for posting another winner. Just purchased the plans. I work a lot with pallets and this will cost practically nothing in materials. Of course, my time and expertise will decide how much I charge for them. Thank you and keep them coming. Cheers!!
Thanks for watching! I wish you much success.
Great job brother never even thought that one I've been making cheese board and cutting boards but I've been using exotic wood and paying the price to thanks for the idea
Thanks for watching!
👍 you have a new subscriber 👍
Cool but what an enormous amount of fancy and bulky equipment involved
With electricity, hardware and materials, that would cost about $52 in Canada... not to mention the time involved! LOL
Jump the boarder to America and then you can buy all your materials from the "free" money the government gives you 😉. You better do it before the election.
So Jong you're saying a 3 bedroom house in Canada would cost 2 million to build?
Don't be so dramatic.
@@guybartlett9587 in some areas... YES!
Not even close to 52 in Canada
@@guybartlett9587absolutely..
In Vancouver your average dumpster house from the mid 70s is well over 1 million
There’s more than .80 cents of materials involved in that project. The six stews alone are nearly that. The wood about $2.
Nope, it's 80 cents including glue, screws, stain
Quick and simple,I love it,I just got an electric hand planer, and table saw,I have no idea how to use the hand planer, and I’m getting the hang of the table saw…..I think, any advice or can you do a video thanks brother, your videos are an inspiration 🙏🏻
Thanks for stopping by. I have no experience with an electric hand planer. But the beauty of RUclips is you can learn about practically anything! Go down those rabbit holes! And then TAKE ACTION. Nothing ever gets built with inaction.
@@RonniesWorkshop that’s true brother I’ll definitely dive into those rabbit holes, and use it
Apparently the labor was free, and all the power tools came from a thrift store. It is a pretty useless object - good for cluttering up a kitchen.
Simple project to sell and use up scraps. Would adding rubber feet help with stability? Or is this more of a decorative display?
I added them to the one I built for my wife. Gives great traction on slick granite.
It won't reach my roof..oh nooo
I love the items that you make. The question I have do you sell these small items on Facebook Marketplace?
I sell my furniture builds on Facebook Marketplace. I don't sell these smalls. I give examples of what others are selling online like Etsy. I do plan on testing the smalls with my FB sales. For instance, have a console table for sale and throw in a serving tray for free.
Listing something for a price does not mean people are buying it or is worth the asking price.
I tried selling these but kept falling off the ladder of success! 😂
You would need $3000 worth of equipment to do the job.
Don’t waste your time or energy, building shit to sell. I’m a damn good carpenter and wood working blessed by god o e thing I hv going for me. I built many so called great sellers and garden trellises and just got back in from my 3rd day trying to sell this shit to garden centers and k ick knack stores, unless you can sell your shot for pennies on the dollar good fucking luck. I had a lot of different things my wife loved and hv in our house. Didn’t sell one dang thing unless I wanted to give them away
Factoring in your time and you're making about $15/hour. Nice for a hobby.
You forgetting your time making it that will cut into the profit.
You’re 100% correct. You cannot accurately identify your profit margin until you carry the cost for your invested time. I think if this were to be truly a high profit margin item with a consistently strong return on investment, you would need to do batch runs.
unless you can make it in 15 minutes you will lose money, labor is the most expensive part of the project
If he was paying someone else, sure. You can't lose money on labor when you're the only person laboring.
@@wyssmaster if you are making $5 an hour you are losing money. even if you are the one being paid
@@oliver299d if you MAKE 5 bucks an hour, you LOSE money?
@@oliver299d how are you loosing money if you do this in your spare time?
Eighty cents plus $35 for the toggle clamps.
Try $12 for 4: amzn.to/48gOTsO And spread that out over how many of these you build. I guess I didn't count the cost of electricity used either.
If you want to have plenty for multiple jigs, I just found a 4-pack for 9 USD and a 12-pack for 21 USD.
I don't have any yet either, but they're not a single use item. Depending on how you do the accounting for covering their cost, they can either be paid in full after your first project that sells, or if you're making 10, 20, or 100 of something...divide the cost of the clamps by how many pieces you're making to sell and include that amount in your materials cost until they're paid off. From that point on they're a zero cost item that is only making money for you...if you continue using them.
So your time has no value? Clickbait title.
He's charging up to 25$. Your charging for your labor. That is value. Tf you talking about? Lol
You can not have a 3000% profit. Help your viewers have some basic understanding how business works. If you sell something that costs you $1 and you sell if for $100,, it would be a 99% margin. To have a 3000% profit, you would need to have a negative cost of goods. Talk about margins, not mark ups, just the basics of running a business. All your costs need to be considered too not just materials. Tools, supplies etc.
Thanks for stopping by. Extremely high profit for this item.. profit percentage
I agree. "80 cents worth of materials and under an hour of work", not considering tools, and selling for 25 dollars is good but not fast way to success good.
Just showing various ways to make some money. I never claimed one would get fast success. This is a great entry level project to get started in woodworking with, however.
3125% ROI (Return On Investment)
Every tool this guy has had been paid for many times over I'm guessing, so it's completely fair to say the only cost here is material. Ones time doesn't factor in to these hobby projects. If that's the case everyone is losing money just typing a ridiculous reply.
