@@RakelDaNell I think so, because the other day I was watching a video of when Drake took Kendrick on his tour, at the time unless I'm mistaken DMX said something about Drake, but it's not that interview he says he hates, in fact it could be, but the excerpt that was in the video was another one and then I think that when Kendrick came back and gave an interview, they asked something about DMX's interview, then he says that all or part of the team had seen the video of it and they were all laughing, when they realized that Drake was arriving everyone stopped and took it off the video, and then Kendrick implies that he didn't understand, perhaps meaning that Drake is probably sensitive, so going back to that time Drake entered Kendrick's microscope, so he probably started observing and reading his way
@@graziamerico3002 I think he appeared on the sports network after the Control verse because at the time, Drake was still acting unbothered but on the show he expressed his true feelings. If he really knew how sad that was. SMH. All rappers trying to come up from that life and that’s the life he is aspiring to. Talk about life in reverse. It’s sad that’s what Drake identifies as the life of a black man. He really needed his father to be a dad and teach him better.
Him saying they're both hypocrites, when Kendrick was born in the dirt and has actually seen shit, had people die on him, while drake has at most paid gangsters to be his friends, absolutely insane
It was Drake who went off about Kendrick and wouldn’t allow the interview to be posted. He threatened that he would not hose the espn awards unless it was destroyed. It’s not a mystery
Very much so!!! How can they not see that Drake has had this entitled ass attitude from the get go! Drake hates competition, and he's in a genre that's gonna test your skills, that's what happened in Control and he took personal like a lil bish. Then went on to take shots and talk shit in his records and interviews for years to come smfh.

📌?: "Your best work is a light pack" also refers to rapper / songwriter Daylyt, who wrote several songs for Drake, including the Meek Mill diss "back to back."
Kendrick was just competing trash talk is a part of every competition and Drake took it personally and got a little bit bitchy about it. Just look at Drake's response to the control verse versus everyone else that Kendrick named
Also it's not about skin color....or genetic make up .....drake isn't culturally black ...thats kendricks point ....that drake specifically isn't black ...Adonis hasn't done anything to imply he has an issue with his blackness ...or use black people as a tool ...I think this is what kendrick is really talking about

@nickoletcampbell4657 He misconstrued many things about the beef. He (purposefully) left out many things that make Drake look worse, and Kendrick look better. Like proof that the abuse rumors were false. When going through the verses, he talks down on Kendricks shots at Drake and presents how they are overblown or false. But does not do the same thing for Drakes shots, or says, "But Kendrick did the same thing," which, while true, Kendrick did in later songs, not first. He ignores Drake talking down on and sneak dissing Kendrick in interviews. It's very clear, even early on in the video. It's also clear that he knows nothing about the culture, black culture and hip hop culture, which is a big part of the reason Kendrick hates Drake, which would also explain why the RUclipsr is a Drake fan. Kendrick calls Drake a colonizer for pretending to be a part of the culture and just profiting off of it, while not attempting to improve it, or embrace it, which is why "Drake can't say ninja"
Yet, we are only just now finding out that Wiley informed TDE of what Drake said the same day it happened. He's from Compton too and Drake probably assumed he'd put thar fire out entirely not realizing that Kendrick knew exactly what he'd said the entire time. For ten years! Wild...

Listened to the entire video, & I have to admit I'm underwhelmed. Alot of things misquoted, misrepresented, and a lot of things that weren't properly researched (while being readily available) on both Drake & K Dot. Just do the actual work next time bro.
I’m so glad I didn’t feel like I was going crazy noticing how he kept presenting Drake as more innocent than he was. Though I appreciate the difference of perspective, he definitely does not understand hip-hop.
@mizushogun after seeing the other videos that are on this channel....it makes perfect sense smh. It's 1 of 2 things (or a combo of both)....ignorance & the lack of integrity. Just hate that other people who have no clue about the topics being presented will be influenced by this and the other videos.
@simoneknight1703 we can't keep saying simple things like this. Especially when you see his other videos. It's not just about Drake and who dude likes. If he's misrepresenting, misquotinging, & doing half ass research on stuff like Drake vs Dot....imagine what he does with everything else.
Not to be a hater or anything, but this video helps prove that quantity doesn’t equal quality. A 4 hour long video and misunderstanding the simplest of lyrics when rap genius is 2 clicks away is crazy. I’m sure people will appreciate the novelty of a 4 hour video but the quality is really disappointing.
Bruh rap genius isn’t the best source either. Although in theory having other users check each other sounds full proof. It is not immune to echo chambers and confirmation bias. There countless examples of users either getting the lyric itself or the meaning wrong. And there’s so so so many reaches to the conclusions they come to.
Drake never had a chance, the only people who thought aubrey stood a chance are people who truly dont appreciate the art of hip hop. Also its not the wizard of oz, its called: the wiz its a urban remake of the wizard of oz

For anyone that says it was a tie or God forbid Drake actually won, multi-hour breakdowns of how Kendrick destroyed Drake is not what happens if it was close... just saying 😂
3:14:48 how does he have a point? He played defense in The Heart Part 6, failed to tried to change the narrative of BBL Drizzy, and then removed all references to his beef/ distracks on IG. Clearly it struck a nerve.
i thought i was going crazy for a min bc ??? this guy obv don’t know that hip hop is abt competition not friendship.. ofc drakes kindness is nice but the guy also had his own flaws that weren’t addressed at all. kendrick calling his name out in Control was a sign of respect and drake took it personally instead of friendly competition
For a four hour video, this video is surprisingly detailed on events that already have numerous breakdowns and analyses on them, and very biased and brushed over on the other events that people are still waiting on being analyzed. Not to mention the amount of casual misinformation. 😐 Bro legit went “i don’t really care about this bit so imma skip it” at one point in the video like, huhh??
Fr. I saw a 4 hour video on this beef and got mad excited for some quality breakdowns but it’s literally just the simplest points regurgitated, blatantly ignoring well known facts and context, misinterpreting lyrics and literally getting the lyrics to some of the songs wrong and then interpreting those incorrect lyrics when he could’ve just googled the verse. My man said “it’s always Sunny in Philadelphia popularized the word Jabroni” and said the “west coast dudes do fades” line was about getting a haircut. I swear he just got chat gpt to write him a 4 hour script and just posted it
Marcellus said it was Drake and described the incident on his podcast when they start dissing eachother in May this year. But yeah it was definitely drake and honestly not that spicy
*i watched the whole video. really great work!* _a quick note tho on the nuance of comments on Drake’s background:_ Kendrick isn’t commenting on Drake’s biracialness - he even calls Adonis a Black man in Meet the Grahams. Kendrick is commenting on “running to America to imitate heritage”. Aubrey is an actor playing Drake, copying American Black people’s swag and selling it as his own… rather than being himself.
it’s actually disrespectful the level of unpreparedness presented throughout the video. there are people with Ph.D.s just about hip hop culture and this kid didn’t look at ANYTHING before making this egregiously long misinformed bloated video
1:59:08 THE movie is called .... "The Wiz"..... just "The Wiz".... 4 hrs is a lot to edit, but try to get some of the cultural importance as close to correct as you can.
That’s the problem with Drake, that got damn ego. Since day one hip hop is ‘I’m the dopest’ or ‘I’m the best’ and Drake took it as a direct personal insult and for weeks went on a mission down-talking and trying to big bro him. Soft ass passive aggressive shit from then on just to stroke his ego. Edit: this is really a biased take. Really acting like Kendrick went at Drake for no reason. He had a lot of slick backhanded words ever since control dropped…
Day 2: Came back to finish this video, and man I’m disappointed. Basically 4 hrs of misunderstanding lyrics/lines, with literal excitement for every Drake portion and the disdain for each Kendrick part. I don’t think you even realize your own bias. You can be more of a fan of one and make an impartial video, but this ain’t that…
Not right now, ima add to my playlist watch tomorrow, to much internet today, stevie knight, scru face, other channel's, etc. 😐 I was surprised 4 hour's. 😱 wow, what else is there to kw, about drake, Kendrick don't like him, he show that talent vs clown's are not competition. I'll see it tomorrow. 2024™
Sooooo, I see this was uploaded a couple of hours ago. Um, did...did...did you do this in one take and then upload? Multiple times you used the wrong artists name in situations. Also some on the bars you explained were incorrect, see "mother I' for proof.
Drake saying I lost respect for the verse on control because the energy is crazy considering he don't even right his own songs and jumps on whatevers hot at the time how we meant to respect someone who jumps trends and doesn't write his own songs and talks about the streets while he lived in the suburbs 🤷🤔
I don't agree that Kendrick was saying Drake isn't black. After all he said Adonis was black in Meet the Grahams. He was saying he's not part of the community or the culture so he can't use their lingo. Surface level, I do think he was trolling Drake by needling him about his racial identity and how it's a sore spot.
Honestly anyone who thinks Kendrick is saying this didn't notice the question inflection in the verse of Euphoria, or the question mark in the lyrics in the song, in short he needs more than that to feel black enough? It's a question, not a statement
Especially when it's 4 hours of misunderstanding bars, misunderstanding Hip Hop culture, misunderstanding the history of this beef and pretending to be impartial when your allegiance is clear to see.
I still think people are missing that "Poetic Justice" portion. Did Drake write that verse or was it Kendrick giving him a verse he had already written for that track. Also that track is about Hip Hop. Did Kendrick know Drake had ghostwriters when he went on that Tour with him? So for anyone doing think pieces on this feud. You have to research that aspect of the situation. Later ❤
Pusha, A$AP and Cole did collab with him after control. Cole and Dot have the unreleased track and there was talks of an album even though it didn’t go through. However 3 artist did collab with him
Fr, but hey that Drake dick not gonna ride itself Edit: + Big K.R.I.T, Meek Mill, Big Sean, and Tyler the Creator have all also collabed with Kendrick since. Wale also called Kendrick one of the top 5 of all time, so ???? 7 out of 11
He also collabed with Mac (RIP) on divine feminine and it's Big Sean's song lmao the person who released the song, heard the verse, wasn't offended by it and kept it on there 😂
Drake fan. But this is really one of the only Drake fans that has said he lost, even if he’s basically saying, Drake lost because Kendrick was slick and mean, but Drake was just too nice. I can’t co-sign this but decent 4 hour breakdown. Again, I commend you for saying Kendrick won, tho.
That’s kind of the whole point of this beef. It’s real/substantive people vs. surface level phony types. Surprisingly real ones won which I assumed was impossible in 2024. Thank the Lord for that total solar eclipse lol cause this could’ve easily gone the other way as far as public opinion goes

Drake was being fake and his team didn't want the fact that his feelings were hurt getting out, even though its pretty obvious if you ask me.
This guy is goofy
u don’t know sht abt hip hop culture
On god.
Yeah he do he just got a lot wrong with this video
Tommy Hilfayjer got me laughing at 2:06:14, really in touch with the culture...
Absolutely nothing!!! Just hopped on the bandwagon. Completely out of touch with hip hop
@islandpunch9465 did you even look at his channel 😂
Drake: I'm the only one living that real rap life. I'm in the streets for real.
Me: Look, it's Jimmy Brooks from Degrassi.
Lol
😂😂
Reeks of OVO bias
On god. 🤮🤢
Faxx
True but it doesn’t matter. Can’t deny what we all witnessed.
Just a little bit but he gives Kdot a lot of credit too
Very much so!!! How can they not see that Drake has had this entitled ass attitude from the get go! Drake hates competition, and he's in a genre that's gonna test your skills, that's what happened in Control and he took personal like a lil bish. Then went on to take shots and talk shit in his records and interviews for years to come smfh.
i think tpab was more well received than iyrtitl. tpab is one of the most acclaimed albums ever
Yea I didn’t get that at all lmao like both albums where very well received but TPAB is literally thought of as one of the greatest albums of all time now
TPAB is a masterpiece. A true story with a surprise twist ending that any rap enthusiast would love and appreciate. Pure art. ❤
I believe IYRTITL sold more copies but TBAP was far more well received by fans and media
📌?: "Your best work is a light pack" also refers to rapper / songwriter Daylyt, who wrote several songs for Drake, including the Meek Mill diss "back to back."
IYRTITL more well received than To Pimp A Butterfly at the time?????? Nah the Drake glaze is crazy with that statement 😂
I was really confused by that 😂
Same!! He had me so beat with that mess! 😂😂
Lil homie swallowed drakes future baby’s then glazerized his donut 🍩 hole 🕳️
When the 2 albums came out at first, IYRTITL was more critically aclaimed from what I remember, we all know what album is better with time
Kendrick was just competing trash talk is a part of every competition and Drake took it personally and got a little bit bitchy about it. Just look at Drake's response to the control verse versus everyone else that Kendrick named
Also it's not about skin color....or genetic make up .....drake isn't culturally black ...thats kendricks point ....that drake specifically isn't black ...Adonis hasn't done anything to imply he has an issue with his blackness ...or use black people as a tool ...I think this is what kendrick is really talking about
Narrator is glazing Drake Krispy Kreme style🤤
Everyone and they mama knows Drake's sensitivity started this whole mess 😂😂😂
I never doubted Kendrick. My family clowned me, my friends clowned me. But my Daughter and I knew exactly who would win. All you have to do is listen to GKMC or To Pimp a Butterfly and you knew how this was going to go. King Kunta!!! 🤴🏾

Exactly. Ever since I heard "Rigor Mortis" I knew Kendrick was special.

Why do you say that? Seriously.
Why?!
His energy when reading drake bars rises. Monotone and swift with the Kendrick bars. Subtle details
The ESPN thing isn’t a mystery, it was predictably revealed to be Drake years ago…
Yet, we are only just now finding out that Wiley informed TDE of what Drake said the same day it happened. He's from Compton too and Drake probably assumed he'd put thar fire out entirely not realizing that Kendrick knew exactly what he'd said the entire time. For ten years! Wild...
Everyone in the general Toronto area has driven past drakes house. He never started from the bottom, his house is growing up was in the richest part of north York Toronto
you sound mighty biased against kendrick a lot throughout the 1st half of this without pointing out how very, vey snakey drake has behaved with the friendly face vs. god awful jabs to the point of whiplash lmao no sane self-respecting person would be cool with someone like that, and least of all kendrick. the the results remain the same either way. still, thanks for your hard work.
Alright after reading the comments I'm glad most ppl agree. This is biased and very petty and unfair towards Kendrick and you should've said so at the start. Thumbs down.
Man. Ive spent, i dont know how many hours, watching kdot v drake content. Another 4 hours wont kill me.

Haha this guy really likes Drake I believe, sneak glazing all the way through, most of drakes disses were just skin deep. Didn’t even do enough research to know Kendrick’s not married he’s engaged. Was actually a part of the disses.
You can feel the excitement when he is talking about drake

Niggas say drake corny then say some bullshit like this 🤦🏽♂️😭😭
Listened to the entire video, & I have to admit I'm underwhelmed.
This guy is a hurt drake glazer. What do u expect?
@simoneknight1703 we can't keep saying simple things like this. Especially when you see his other videos. It's not just about Drake and who dude likes. If he's misrepresenting, misquotinging, & doing half ass research on stuff like Drake vs Dot....imagine what he does with everything else.
I cant speak on the energy bc he did go bar for bar explaining everything but I will agree there were things he shudve brought up
Not to be a hater or anything, but this video helps prove that quantity doesn’t equal quality.
He’s clearly just here to make dot look like the villain. Painting his picture. His breath smells like drakes dick

He said somewhere halfway on some generic bar “Let’s be honest Drake has more money” from there I knew he wanted Drake to win 😂

i thought i was going crazy for a min bc ??? this guy obv don’t know that hip hop is abt competition not friendship.. ofc drakes kindness is nice but the guy also had his own flaws that weren’t addressed at all. kendrick calling his name out in Control was a sign of respect and drake took it personally instead of friendly competition
Honestly a lot of non-americans have really bad takes when it comes to Hip Hop competition
OV-HOES tryna change the narrative, the reason why Kendrick and the others dissed Drake was because he's an asshole and doesn't care about hip-hop.
he didnt even mention pusha t in the 2018 section
For a four hour video, this video is surprisingly detailed on events that already have numerous breakdowns and analyses on them, and very biased and brushed over on the other events that people are still waiting on being analyzed. Not to mention the amount of casual misinformation. 😐
Bro legit went “i don’t really care about this bit so imma skip it” at one point in the video like, huhh??
I swear he just got chat gpt to write him a 4 hour script and just posted it
It doesn't remain a mystery who did the interview it was drake.
Marcellus said it was Drake and described the incident on his podcast when they start dissing eachother in May this year. But yeah it was definitely drake and honestly not that spicy
This dude didn't do enough research, it was a cash grab for his novel where he revealed it was drake, but never mentioned what was really said.
@Nightwan009 I agree. Kind of disappointed for a 4 hour video...
*i watched the whole video. really great work!*
_a quick note tho on the nuance of comments on Drake’s background:_
Kendrick isn’t commenting on Drake’s biracialness - he even calls Adonis a Black man in Meet the Grahams.
You really know your stuff. I see you cleaning up this comment section
You can be more of a fan of one and make an impartial video, but this ain’t that…
By the way he 'breaks it down' and general way of talk, I feel like OP was fighting tears doing this video about his boy getting murk'd.

I still think people are missing that "Poetic Justice" portion. Did Drake write that verse or was it Kendrick giving him a verse he had already written for that track.
