nice to see girls like you operating big combines in my youth it was old boys on massy harris and massy fergesons 8 or10 foot cut no cab us boys at the time were asked by the farmer if we wanted a ride standing on the platform covered in chaff and we loved it

Love your videos. nice to see the younger generation interested in farming. I'm in Canada grow 2000 acres of soyabeans every year, Don't know how many beans you guys do but an air reel is well worth the money all the beans on the knife will get blown into the combine and don't bounce off. the beans also feed better especially in tough conditions. I see the beans were at 10% so you are loosing them at the knife. I was very skeptical about spending the money but well worth it. Wouldn't do beans without.

Beautiful sunflowers and so good for biodiversity. It is pleasing to observe many more farms and estates are considering them in their cropping plans these days. Who doesn’t like a good ole Cheese and Pickle sandwich as well? Best wishes, Tony.

Hi Eleanor. Beans have changed a lot since the 1970s. When they grew 7 feet tall and could be a real tangled crop to get through. One plus was that they only had 4 pods on each stem, and they were halfway up. You were commenting on the dust. Imagine what we had to put up with before cabs became the norm.
Also interesting that your knife sections appeared to bolt on, whereas in my day they were always riveted.
Happy New Year to you and your family x
