    Braised pork belly (Hong Bak) is a traditional Hokkien dish that is eaten during Chinese New Year and festive seasons. The belly meat is cooked with garlic and seasoning under low heat for an hour. The garlic melts in the sauce which is absorbed by the belly meat. A very flavourful and must try dish this new year 😊 wishing everyone a happy, smooth, healthy and peaceful new year ❤️

    材料 Ingredients
    800g 花肉 800g belly meat
    3-4粒蒜头 3-4 garlic
    1汤匙糖1tbsp sugar to melt
    1汤匙豆酱1tbsp minced taucu
    1-2汤匙黑酱油1-2tbsp black soy sauce
    2汤匙酱油2tbsp soy sauce
    3-4粒冰糖 3-4 rock sugar
    温水焖 Warm water to stew
