I would like to see this video with you showing putting in the SD card and taking it out. You told about how to do it but I couldn't see how it was done. Thanks.
Thank you so much this was the best video! You speak so clearly and that extra video with the close up view was a huge help. I don't know what other videos you have but you saved my sanity today so I am open to checking them out and will subscribe. Thank you again!
You were at a camera focus on insertion and removal Of SD card. If I ever drop amazon prime they say they'll delete all my kindle books. Does this save them to the DR disk for a desktop computer usage?
I inserted the SD card and formatted it into my sons Fire 7 tablet. After formatting - when trying to download a game or book it still pops up with the message to manage storage due to there not being any. The 65GB SD card shows it has nothing on it yet but still will not allow for any game downloads. Any advise??
I want to use my new amazon 2022 hd8 only as a music device so will only put flac music files that I already have on an 1tb sd card. I have also already installed vlc music player. I stream via bluetooth 5.2 to my hifi. Is it easier to put the music on the card in the pc first then put that in the amazon device ?.
I bought the sd card you recommended in your comments & it didn't work for my daughter's amazon fire 7 tablet . It was a 128gb sd card. Is that too much gb for that type of tablet? Would it have worked if I got one with less gb or does the amount of gb not make a difference?
Help!! I put my SD card in but the menu under it isn't popping up. It doesn't give me the option to download or move anything on it. Its formatted and erased

John, which SD card do you recommend for the Fire 7? When I look at all of the ones on Amazon, there are so many reviews that differ, it's hard to figure out which one to buy. I don't need many GB, just anything to add storage. Some say they are for Fire 7, and then people say they don't work in their Kindle! Ugh. Help please. Thanks

You can't transfer photos to the SD card. All future photos and videos will be saved there. If you upload the photos to your Amazon cloud account, you can download them to your computer or view/move them to another device.

While I finally got my card inserted, it was only by listening over & over and some trial & error! It is difficult for me to listen, retain, & do something at the same time, as I am not tech savvy. Anyway, most of the time I only saw the man's face, not what he was doing with the sd card! He moved through the act much too quickly for me. Also, he was speaking to people who already had some familiarity with technology, unlike dinosaurs like me whose "computer' class in college consisted of a huge cardpunch machine!
Getting the cover off the tablet so I can insert the card is my problem. A little afraid to actually pry it off .... No one seems to think it's worth a video.
Here’s a close-up video showing you how to put the memory card in the tablet.
