She looks fantastic
She is a total hottie! I love her natural look. Real gray hair, not dyed. Real wrinkles, no Botox. Very little to no make-up, as opposed to all that caked on crap. In-shape physique, no blubber. Yeah, she is looking fine indeed. 🥰😍
Thank God she never packed it in and went back to Scotland! What a great legacy of music we have enjoyed for 40 years!
I spent the 80s in Austin, TX playing in bands in the extremely vibrant music scene and I saw many people and bands as talented as Annie and Dave who never really went anywhere and eventually packed it in. The world never go to know a lot of really amazing music, and this was before computer recording became possible and cheap so most of it was never even really recorded in most instances. All the world really knows from that time is Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Johnson but there was so much more. It is sort of painfully tragic, but I did get to witness so much truly great music, even if it now all essentially gone with the wind.
The Eurythmics were a fantastic 80s band. Brilliant written tracks. Missionary Man is my fav Eurythmics track. Fantastic song.❤
The Voice.. amazing
Has it all in abundance : beauty , genius , enormously talented and well known . Thank you for the music .
Is there more of this interview?
When I first heard "Sweet Dreams" right when it came out, I thought it was one of the most lonely, bereft of hope songs I had ever heard. I wasn't even sure what I was hearing but it had a profoundly melancholy sound to me. I found it really eerie and almost painful to listen to even though it was a remarkably new and unique sounding song. Great, great song.
Legend
I guess that I had never known that Annie Lennox was Scottish, I had always assumed that she was English and I had always liked her song " Sweet Dreams ( are made of these ) " in my mind that song was a pretty good song
So well spoken and very interesting!
Annie and Dave are Real RocknRollas...Earth Soul Blues RocknRoll...
Eurythmics comeback tour!!!!!
I will be there😊
Thank you Dan and Annie💗
I'm in love :) Talent, brains, beauty. Sigh.
Annie Rocks!!!
Waw love that song my favorite
She is just so effing cool.
Eurythmics Rocka!
How is she NOT going to shout out Marilyn? He breathed such life into that song. Gave it to a new generation with an entirely new attitude. You know her stock went up after that release….
It’s Marilyn’s job to shout out to Annie, just as it’s a child’s responsibility to honor their parents.
@@CasperLCat I understand. But you know she gets fat checks from that. Or GOT. Lol
Who? There was another writer?
@@tw9535 Marilyn Manson covered this song brought new life to it. To a whole new generation and I’m SURE she made plenty more money off of it, she wouldn’t have made otherwise….
@@Mgray187 I'll take your word for it. I know who Manson was in general, but missed his whole career in terms of specific songs.
Still had nothing to do with the question, though.
I thought you meant there was an uncredited songwriter. Which I guess there wasn't.
How hopeless must life be to consider going back to Scotland.
She aged well.
Sweet dreams for me is about the music, not much the lyrics
It’s about the lyrics too no one really talks about control like it does
Didn't mention that Marilyn Manson made the song legendary on top of her success he made the song even better an the rest is history 🤘
😂
I actually never heard Marilyn’s cover of Sweet Dreams.
@@greasey520 it's great an you would never want to hear it the original way which is rare ya know!! 🤘So definitely listen to it an hope you like it !! It came out on Mansons album smells like children!!! Like 1995 I believe an there's a music video to that cover an he does a unforgettable version
It was all that and more before he got hold of it
@@jlouis4407 Manson made the song after she released it
