It is also surprising that the phone shows a different country than it really is. Sometimes the network indicator might not update immediately. Try toggling airplane mode on and off or restarting your phone to see if the 5G sign appears.

you can do that in APN settings of sim. Choose NR in BEARER list in APN settings. But 4g/3g won't connect and you will face issues with calls
