Something else I noticed with changing the Symbiote tendril color is that when you have the Black color equipped, it changes Peter's tone to be much more aggressive, like during the story, specifically during combat. When activating certain abilities or Symbiote Surge, his screams are much angrier. Which is something I was REALLY hoping for.
How do you change the tendril colour ? I cant find an option for it

It uses the base Spider-Man model, not a suit. Unfortunately you can't😭

I’m disappointed they didn’t have a weather type when venom takes over the city and has the big symbiote tendrils sticking out….. that definitely should of been a weather type cuz you could swing from them too!!

You guys were asking for other things beforehand and have more recently been asking for those when the most recent update has already been well into development. I more so expected it to be in another update after the one that just came out.
There’s an overcast that has rain which I think is a good start
Sad to see that there is not really much weather options, especially for the thunderstorm in the nighttime and also the Parry options between Spider Arms and Symbiote 💯 Those HAVE to happen!

Some things I've noticed in the update
-Theres a bug where the sun will move in the sunset time of day (lol)
-Peter has his own air trick names now
-Updates to the Stark suit
-Peter's swing animation from a right + square air trick is a little bit faster making it smoother

What did they change on the Stark Suit?
One thing I wish there was a in this update is the ability to replay Hunter Blinds and replay any crime that you have completed. (i.e. Symbiote Hordes, Burning Devils, etc.)
This is what made Miles' game so replayable.

I like that the symbiote suit got the red spider symbol since the fan that originally designed the symbiote suit back then had the spider symbol red but marvel changed it to white
It also vibes more with the Knull symbiote lore
I haven’t seen many people talk about it but being able to choose your surge suit would be an amazing feature for this game, being able to surge from raimi red to black would be peak
I feel like that should just be the default when you use the red raimi suit

That inverted color Anti-Venom suit looks so sick. My biggest goal for NG+ will absolutely be unlocking that suit.
Wait so if you completed the main story on another save, you can only have the additional symbiote suits on NG+ and not the main?
The game seems more fluid, the traversal system definitely got some tweaking done to it.
This is something I noticed! I thought it was just me, it really does seem to flow more smoother now than before.
I KNEW IT I was starting at the rami suit for like 10 minutes and just saying this looks way more like the movie I knew i wasn’t tripping
I've noticed that they made the gliding and momentum in swinging more realistic. Was nice gliding fast and far but man, makes you feel more like spiderman now
Wish they could change the parry option to mechanical arms for Peter.
Bro yeah the update is great but in ng+ he still parries with the anti venom tendrils its so stupid

@@nateflores8160 you have 3 options for colors, white black and story, but the story option gives the white tendrils like end game, its clearly a bug😔
Take off all the venom abilities and the arms will come back

Don’t know if anyone talked about this but the Homecoming suit also got updated as well
I'm not sure but I think the black and gold suit also got updated...it looks a bit bulkier now for some reason like on the gauntlets it reminds me of the strike suit for miles
I jumped back into NG+ with the wearing Secret Wars Civil War suit for Peter and The End suit for Miles.
I was very ecstatic with the suit lock removal and seeing those outfits right away, as they’re making their way to Sandman.
Bottom line, this update has really made me enjoy the game all over again.
I hope they are able to change the type of parry you have cause I want my iron arms instead of anti venom

Pretty sure if you change your suit abilities from the iron arm skills to the symbiote skills it changes the parry as well.

@kyip3998 apparently not in my case, got all symbiote abilities and somehow the iron arms showed up today when a parry happened
Something else I noticed. When you’re stopping a car chase and go into photo mode, you can actually move the camera around now.
Edit: ive also noticed the locked suit sections of the game where your forced to where a specific suit, is gone in new game plus. You’ll now have any suit you were wearing equipped
idk how it happened but when i started NG+ i already had my Ultimate Level Maxed out, im not complaining im rocking that Red symboled Black Suit
Probably because you’ve been playing on your old save gathering so much xp you already reached the threshold.

Funny enough, if you had a crazy amount of xp on your save (in my case over a million) it auto unlocks all of the symbiote suit styles as soon as you start new game +
I said to myself an hour ago when playing, the raimi suit looks better, i couldn't quite pinpoint it but i felt it
For the golden gadgets when you equip and use them, they give off a golden pixel effect.
Seems weird they wouldn't just give you the option to change it to any color you want
I've noticed that in ng+ the symbiote surge isn't changing the suit anymore it just stays whatever suit u have on

Aparently the update let a developers menu open to some players and there, they could find archives confirming the Beetle DLC expansion, that will add something around 9 missions for that arc, If each of those archives refer to one mission and I think they do because say stuff like "Beetle intro, Hostages, Chase, Boss fight". And the version of Beetle in question will be Janice Lincoln, Tomsbtone daughter. So, that confirms that leak that we will get at least 3 DLC story expansions, Beetle, Carnage and Spiderverse.
Sounds amazing but I think Carnage should really have his own game.
I reached lvl 60 in my first save and have all symbiote styles in NG+

I really wanted the rainy storm at night, and the purple sky from the last mission. They're the most unique lighting conditions, how could they not include them
You can also change wich music plays when you swing around. In the audio settings

I'm back in action on the Ultimate difficulty!!! It's like I never left!!!
I played ultimate difficulty on all 3 spidermans I'm too good at the game it's easy for me frfr all u have to do is dodge lots of attacks that's coming ya way when u get hit u lose like 80% of ya health n it decreases to 5 lol
When I played this game, the first mission with Sandman and everything I had my headphones on I was like a little kid again, this was a treat -not gonna lie games fun as hell
Now I am able to battle Venom with the Black suit + tendrils which completes the whole Web of Shadows vibe it gives
It would be awesome to have a multiplayer mode update
Mine is the new Debug menu, press the touch pad and Start/ options button at the same time to access it

I'm loving the look of the new suits, though I do have one big issue. I find it amazing that we now have suits with blue and red as the main color, Personally love the blue/silver colored symbiote the most but they only made it so you can change to black or white for the tendril colors. I'd really love it if we had tendrils that match for the main color of each of the symbiote suits so blue and red really need their proper colors added next.

The 2 suits you chose for the intro cinematic are literally the two suits I used as my mains on my playthrough, just different colour variants

A very small detail I noticed but they changed Miles sitting pose; character pose 12 to be exact.
One more thing I noticed! In the opening mission, every suit now has a sandy variant during and after fighting sandman. Pretty cool!

I love the original concept style for the black suit. It looks so good in this game
Web wing colour customisation and bioelectricity colour customisation have been things I’ve wanted since launch
Another thing they should add is to customize the parry animation when you do new game plus no matter what suit you wear you only have the black suit parry animation and not the iron arms one but they did a great job with the update

I feel like soon they’re gonna announce DLC, and that’s gonna be even more hype.

the literal only thing left i need is the ability to change the dash and jump to tendrils, like having the black raimi suit it still has the iron spider arms i wish i could change it to tendrils

since we got most of what we asked for in the new update, a feature I wanna see now is a change with Symbiote surge, like in settings next to the tendril color you could set up what suit it changes to when you activate Symbiot surge in new game plus. So like if you activated, Symbiot surge in the classic black suit, it would change to the black suit and you could do it to any Symbiote suit or suit style
The suits I chose for my first ng plus playthrough open cutscene was the tasm 2 for Peter and 10th anniversary for miles
They need the add weather change and replay crimes like u were able to do in miles morales game. Plus replayable enemy bases like in the last two games. That way u don’t have to wait around in order to get active
I really hope they add like a co op or maybe even spilt screen so you can play with a sibling or a buddy, that would be really cool

Caboose found in spider man 2 that wen enough airtricks are done you can recharge your symbiote surge with needing to fight and find enemies.
ever since the update, it bugged and says i cant start this game or app and its saying it cant install update because something went wrong
On the symbiote suit color options: the blue/grey looks like it is trying to mimic the "Agent Venom" suit that eddie wore in the comics.

Kind of wish the suit damage did a lot more. Like having the raimi suit and large portions of the mask missing like in the final goblin fight in the first film
Btw they left the debug mode in the game, you can get to it by hitting touchpad and options at the same time. I messed with it a lil and had fun
Are the mechanical arms fixed when you parry? Because the tendrils would come out instead if I had a suit with the arms.
A feature they need fr is for us to play with any of the suits on both characters

I new feature that everyone seems to be glancing over is that Peter’s air tricks now have their own names, separate from Miles. Such a neat quality of life improvement. It was especially weird when Peter did the ‘Miles special’.
i just made a video on the damaged suits before the update and being able to adjust the damage level would have been way easier
We need parry’s to be customizable as well, cuz it’s stuck on just tendrils. Otherwise, awesome update.
The main change i want is to be able to have the black webbing all the time i mainly rock the black rami suit and it has the regular white webbs i wish atleast for that suit it could be black or just change the class to symbiotic class so it will be black because that is a symbiote suit so idk why they didn't give it the black webbing for it

u have those 3 styles because you are ultimate level 3. Im ultimate level 1 and don't have them yet.
The white and black color way for the base symbiote suit isn't an anti venom suit, it's a reference to the venomverse mini series where Spider-Man got turned into a poison
I am so happy insomniac did good for the first big update. I hope they keep making good updates like this and DLC’s come soon.
Also in the TASM2 suit the bottom of the feet color has changed from black to red
They need to add a checkpoint bind so people that like to needle thread can go back to the spot instantly without having to swing all the way back

Caboose hi I selected NG+ but I can’t change the setting to night Day ‘ Dust Or that why not ? There no option for it in Gameplay
One thing that would be nice is if we could change the parrys for Peter and miles(ex: Peter’s iron arm parry which you can’t get anymore)

i just wish they fixed the glitch that makes it so miles' advanced suit isn't in your inventory, for some reason it's nowhere to be found in my suits tab :((
4:10 I didn't notice this change about the Webbed suit, but I noticed a detail, or lack thereof, with the Webbed Black suit. It STILL doesn't have the symbiote webs and wings! I genuinely don't know why the suit you likely unlock AFTER getting the Black Suit that is your first alternate Black Suit is missing the Symbiote webbing.
Spider-Man doesn’t use black webs in the Raimi movies when wearing the Symbiote. Because of his organic webbing, they remain white, so I imagine it was an intentional decision (Black web wings would look cool though!)
