the whole champion idea brought something new but wasn’t quake, although I would say the gameplay/movement is very good aside from active ability/passive stuff. I think that’s why it kinda died since it was competing with other champion/hero games that were huge and was trying to appeal to a different audience...
Champions as a game isn't a bad idea. I can see the dots connected between Q3 and this. I'm not sure what Quake needs, but Quake Wars and Quake Champions isn't it. I like Champions, tho, and I dig on Wars, but it isn't Quake. It could be anything and just as good or bad.

The Brutal Doom Mod started development in 2010 and got released in 2012. So all these over the top violence's and glory kills existed before you even heard about Brutal Doom. Everything else in Doom 2016 is practically Old-School Arena design mixed with some of Doom 3's visuals and atmosphere and everything somewhat faster. Not sure what Doom Eternal "found" in the Brutal Doom mod .... the Heavy Cannon? xD. Anyways .... Andew will do good ... but I doubt he will reach Micks quality.

Technically yes but the original account had to delete their account since id and Mick Gordon kindly told him to remove the songs rightfully so. Which means that the original corrupted keep video also went down with the channel. The original account was CapitalCorn.
I love that they included this track as a bonus unlockable in Doom Eternal. But it's a shame we can only listen to it when hanging out in the Doom Fortress. This music would be PERFECT for the intensity of Doom Eternal battles. Too bad we can't listen to it while playing Doom Eternal maps.
I love Mick's music. Absolutely amazing...however I think Andrew's music fits the DOOM theme better. Again, Mick's is also great and fits too...I just personally think Andrew's is a better choice.
i love micks work but i have to admit some of the music didn't have enough punch for the high octane gameplay. For example, the entire urdack level has very weak music, the gladiator was a bit weak aswell and final sin too. I'd rather have music like this when guts are flying everywhere. I have high hopes for andrew since his work in dusk was great aswell

Gotta say this about Andrew. This is sad compared to literally anything in eternal, musically it isn’t bad, but it just sounds like any other rock song: guitars, drums, and spooky vocals. That’s it. None of the crazy synths that make gordon sound special, not to mention the distinct lack of lawnmowers and chainsaws.
Gonna have to disagree with it sounding like "any other rock song". I've never heard any rock music like this, it's really unique, at least in my opinion

In audio settings change "audio track" (or something like that) to Andrew Hulshult. Piano ambient plays only on those greenish maps
