I knew Wes was replacing his management team in these months off but I didn’t realise that extended to his whole band too. Kind of a dog move considering that lineup stuck with Wes from 2014 during the worst years of his addiction. Come on Wes.

Right, they were almost the longest lineup he’s had
Doug still remains as the second longest member

@@vondrebridges9740isn’t the first time Wes has turned his back on people who’ve helped him. In fact he’s notorious for it. He didn’t invite their original drummer Kenny to join the band when they signed with Fred durst, even though Kenny had been performing with Wes for 8 years during the 90’s. Wes may be 51 years old now but his mental age is still that of a teenager and always has been

Well goddamn, I guess that's it then. I was already losing hope when he had his meltdown back in 2022, But now I'm not sure if he'll be able to come back this time. Best case scenario would be for him to let somebody else front the band until he's ready to return. (Preferably with actual vocal lessons) But knowing him he'll just double down until there's nothing left to salvage.
It's a real shame too since Wes was doing so well during 2018-2021, I don't know what went wrong.

@@muddheadsyeah he said he fired his management but didn’t say anything about sacking his whole band too. I’m quite disappointed in him, I really thought he’d found his people with that lineup who’d all joined the band in 2014 and stuck with Wes during the worst years of his addiction and during his recovery. Now he’s just expended them once he didn’t have any use for them anymore

@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoods8202 I do not know everything that went on. Or why the previous line up was let go. If that’s what you wanna call it. They could have left on their own terms as well. I do know Dave Moreno would be the tour manager and arranger when they would hit the road.

For real. This year would’ve been 10 years of a stable POM lineup which had never been the case before. Wes may be sober but he doesn’t seem to have changed for the better. Still has the mental maturity of a teenager who does what he wants and doesn’t give a shit about who it affects. He’s always been this way and it makes sense why this band has had so many lineup changes
