I just finished building the handrail on my deck ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z and used this great little router to clean up the top rail before the final sanding and stain. It was light weight but packed lots of power. Either size battery didn't seem to make it top heavy and I'm a 64 yr old women so I really appreciated how easy it was to use...................... CORDLESS only way to go !!

Thanks for this. I've been planning on making a Covid-lockdown desk out of scaffold boards, only have basic power tools, (Circular saw, router, etc) don't have room (or the budget) for things like a thickness planer and was dreading having to hand sand the boards flat. Your idea will save me a ton of time and more importantly money!

When I grinding with the tub grinder and I come across something that looks interesting I set it aside, mill it (sort of) with my chainsaw and haul it home to dry. A lot of times (such as in most of the time) my chainsaw work is far from perfect. This sled is going to up my woodworking umpteen percent. Again thanks.

It only cost me $25-ish for the plywood, $40 for the router bit, $300 for the table saw, $150 for the router, $20 for the kreg jig, and now I never need to pay the wood guy again!” - I’m pretty sure this is what my wife thinks every time I buy another tool lol
