Great as always from Al. Most important partis in the first 30 seconds, where he says he listens to as many versions as possible before starting an arrangement. True for vocal songs too. This is why his stuff always sounds like he is 'inside' the tune and it is his own.

In myxolydian mode and with those bends, it sounds almost like an Indian raga. You are an excellent player. Very nice. Thanks.

Great lesson! Thanks Al. Love the bagpipe drone a la RT. I've been working it out in standard tuning, sometimes dropped D but your version is the bomb! I have some of your Homespun dvd's btw.

I am an avid user of gnarly fuzz & play sludgy punk & metal, but I love this guy's lessons!

Michael Wong on the RMMGA cd kills this. Nice demo here ! It sounds so complicated without seeing it played.

@@daganhaddad Page used it on a few things (Black Mountain Side which is really a Burt Jansch rip off, Kashmir…)
but it’s practically “standard” tuning in Celtic guitar

Hi Al, love ya but please remember the Irish Shamrock has 3 leaves not 4 like a clover as in your opening, common mistake and you are most forgiven, keep up the magnificent playing.
