Thank you so much for showing me how to remove the seats, Being a 68 year old woman I'm gonna have to have help I can see that! I thought it might be too complicated because their power seats and you showed me it's not that hard just getting a matter there will be the worst! Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
Awesome! Thank you so much for that comment. You make me glad I made this video!😁 I too was surprised at how simple it was but I can't I can't stress enough how heavy those seats are. Get at least two people with good backs!

Just bought a 2025 Pacifica with manual third row. I can’t wait to remove them. Thank you so much for the information! First time seeing your site, and I will continue checking it out!
Awesome! I'm glad it helped. I actually wish my third row was manual. The powered version is so slow and you can't use it unless you open the rear door. And with the manual 3rd row, you have at least one less step to do if you want to remove them completely. You don't have to worry about the wires.😁
I've been watching your videos for over a year (since before buying my Pacifica last August). I often watch them over again because of your humor and demeanor. You've given me so many great ideas (thanks for the Dometic recommendation) and your content has been invaluable. I came back to this video because I couldn't remember if I could remove just the smaller seat in the back row. Thanks to your thorough video, I realized that I can. Cheers!
@@VantasticPacifica Got the third row out! Due to the tightness of the factory installed bolts, needed a power tool to remove the bolts. Appreciate the instruction in this video!
Because of you, I just bought a Chrysler Pacifica. I also am looking forward to seeing what you’re going to do with that space. Especially since you mentioned below that you were building a new bed. I would like to build some sort of compartment that I can lock to secure expensive valuables when I’m out hiking.
Congrats on the Pacifica! I hope it serves you well. I'm still working on the new build. It takes a while because every step is like re-inventing the wheel. Hopefully it'll be done in the next couple months! Because of you, I'll try to hurry. Lol!😁
Looking forward to seeing what you are going to do with the 3rd row out in a future video. I’ve got an odyssey and pulled my 3rd row out last month for my mini camper and like what I’ve done with a tri fold couch sleeper. Your pretty dang creative and I’m sure you’ll have something else I can add to my project though. Thanks for the videos man
Haha! You got me! I'm working on campervan ver 4. I'll utilize that space for storage because the new bed I'm building won't have storage underneath. Not sure when it'll be finished but there will definitely be a tour video. Thank you so much for watching! 😁
Great video. Detailed to see everything. Did you happen to build the platform? Curious if it needs to be supported towards the rear of the car or will it sit on a lip. I don't have a Pacifica yet but researching for to see if the Pacifica will work. thanks
Yes, I did build a platform but I never quite finnished it nor did I real-world test it. But to answer your question, I did have it sitting on the lip and it seemed to work just fine. I rigged two pieces of flat metal to protrude out of the platform and bent them into hooks (one on each side). So whenever I install the platform, those hooks connect to the factory tie downs (D-rings) and keep the platform from sliding around.
Omg, I would love to get rid of that thing! But all the videos I could find on how to do it made it seem like it's not worth it. You have to practically disassemble your entire car!
That depends. Are these powered seats? If so, there's a couple things you could try. First make sure nothing is blocking the foot flap that pops out automatically in chair mode. This could be things like carpets or rubber floor mats. If that's clear then try holding the Stow button for a few extra seconds before trying the Normal button. That usually works for me. I think that helps it to finish cycling through the modes or something. If your seat isn't even trying to unfold and is making no noise at all, it could be unplugged. Check the connection. This is not likely to be the cause if you've never removed the seat. And you may as well check the fuses while your at it but I'm not hopeful about that either if the other seat still works. If none of that helps, you can actually manually unflold the seat. Just grab it and pull it open. It'll take a little muscle but it will slowly open. That's all I can think of for now.

Oh man, I'm trying but I've been sooo busy this summer. I wish I could just spend a month in the garage working on the new build but this RUclips stuff doesn't quite pay the mortgage yet.😁 But your comment does encourage me. Thank you!
@@pretor706 Well, as of this month, I've had mine for 4 years and put 162K on it and I have not experienced any unreasonable issues? I'm still on my first set of breaks, second set of tires, forth set of wiper blades and about 24 oil changes. But I have to acknowledge, I could just be lucky. Maybe I got the one Pacific they built right.😁
@@VantasticPacifica 162k is a considerable amount of miles. Sounds good. It's crazy how Toyota's and Honda's are overpriced lately. Hard to find etc. I'm not saying they're not good vehicles. But those prices are beyond belief. I'm looking for a used Pacifica, 2020 maybe. One owner. What are your thoughts about the hybrid version?
@@pretor706 It totally depends on how you plan to use the vehicle. From what I understand, the hybrid only goes about 30 miles on electricity before switching to gas. That would be great if someone regularly traveled no more than 15 miles from their house on a regular basis. But I do a lot of road trips so I would never notice the fuel savings. I would, however, notice not having "stow n go" seats, built in vacuum cleaner, or increased towing capacity. These are all the things you have to give up in the hybrid. I'm glad it exists and I can't wait for an all electric version but for now, I don't have much use for the hybrid. But that's just me.😊
I've heard of that happening when people disconnect the front seats. Those have several sensors on them. The third row seats have none of that. It's just a power cord for the power seats. Some Pacificas don't have power third row seats and on those, that wire doesn't exist. Great question!😀
