Good mods, I hope they make more mods to improve the game especially historical mod, A mod that gives units in Troy formations to make battles more complex would be great, like some of the formations are already in the game like shield wall from corybantes and wedge formation.
Yeah, that's the price point that I think Troy becomes worth it without a real risk of buyers remorse, especially if you can get the DLC with it. It'll probably get close to that around the holidays.
I am still waiting for some more mods which impact the historical mode more like adding some of the truth behind the legend units like the ones which aren´t single entities
There should be a mod that sets the clock back a century or so and introduces the Hittite Empire and Arzawa in Asia minor. I can see how there would be balancing issues since a lot of the Hittite territory is off the map, but I guess they could code the northern Greek states to be far more passive when it comes to getting involved in conflict and make them harder to conquer. It could follow the Trojan War model, having Mycenae and Arzawa play offense and Hittites + their client states defense. Lycia could be a rouge state like Prussia was in Napoleon Total War, which would have some independence in the begging of the conflict but would need to choose a side eventually. I definitely think this could be done; whoever does it would just have to replace the Trojan units with Hittite units and reduce the number of factions in the game. It would be a fun experience imho, a lot akin to Napoleon but in the bronze age.
I love these little mods that add small things CA removed from Total War for some inexplicable reason. The title is right, most of these things should be in the game. If modders can do it in their free time, why can't CA? Anyway great video as always my dude
Thank you! Yeah, I don't understand why they'd remove little immersive things like seasons, or why they don't have a "don't ask me again" setting let Civ 6 has. It doesn't make any sense to me.
longer battles seems to be a staple for me in most total war games because I really hate those frantic clickfest style battles plus i love zooming in to get close ups
Super helpful video tku!! Been back to Troy following the amazing Extended Factions mod but I had gotten it for free on epic... hope these are available.. if not tbh am considering paying for it as with the aforementioned mod this has become one of my favorite TW games.... Thanks and keep it up Happy Compy
Mate didn't know you modded - you think it's possible to create a mod that can bring epic heroes into the hero recruitment pool when they're dead, or at least allow you to liberate their home city to bring them back?
Wrath of Sparta DLC for Rome 2 had the same map, and it had far more drastic seasons than this mod. We're talking -80% income in winter and movement range penalties.
I already made one here: ruclips.net/video/rSKfG83PMHA/видео.html. I do believe we're getting another lord pack DLC featuring Thracians, but nothing is confirmed.
Does exist any mode which somehow change diplomacy? I rly don´t get it why 56 power enemy attack me when I am 1 power or rly weak neighbour without any army with good relationship won´t allow me enter his lands or demands like 10k bronze etc. All deals are everytime not good for me. Everyone never accept anything. And only "good" deal is when someone wanna peace in face of annihilation. Diplomacy here looks so underhelming.
Faster battles capture the era quite well, given that the Bronze Age wasn't really known for battle formations and stuff like that, but being used to playing the super tight Greek formations the longer battles will make battles more comfortable. P.S. when is the discord coming?
Speaking of battle pacing, I love that Demetrios Poliorketes' battles largely feel like vanilla's, at least the last time I played. Yes, I just dodged the discord question 😂
Este mod de influencis deberian poner cua do baja a 10% la faccion se rebela y vuelve a aparecer. Algo malo en el trou es que al derroter una faccion nunca mas puede volver a aparecer como en los otros total war
I played all of the Total War games and i can definetly say that Troy has one of the best AI in battlefields in whole TW series and best looking campaign map. But however, every castle and city is the same. That makes me really disappointed. There is no fighting animation like in Shogun, Rome, old looking graphics, less playable factions compare to other TW games but most hurting part is copy paste castles. Its like they really didnt give enough effort to this game. Look to Warhammer series, you are fighting in incredible locations, dungeons, mines, caves, elf cities, human cities, in orc camps, aztec looking temples but look to Troy you are fighting in the same looking locations over and over again. Thats something you cant tolerate.
Finally some sweet mods to fresh up the game better.. ll someone do reskins too? Like myrmidons from movie:troy witj that achilles? Or king guard spartans from rome2? Alexanders macedon too.. mix it up a bit
Great job with the Troy coverage! Such a good game.
Thank you Andy!
“Don’t expect Hannibal Bahca!”- thanks for the coverage!
Yeah he wasn't even born yet! Lol
😂
The greatest general of all time in my opinion.
Happycompy and Terminator upload at the same time. What an iconic duo 😄

Big Daddy Terminator!

Yes, more formations would be excellent.
I think Attila has the best campaign. Great work with the season mod.
Thank you!
I need Troy to be like 30 bucks total before I pull the trigger
Yeah, that's the price point that I think Troy becomes worth it without a real risk of buyers remorse, especially if you can get the DLC with it. It'll probably get close to that around the holidays.
That's a smart idea man. By the holidays the mods would probably be better fleshed out.
This is great! Excited to try some of these out and see future mods for Troy!
Thank you Zakur! Enjoy the mods!
Solid list! And great to see so many mods for Troy already :)
Thank you man! Yeah, it's been nice to see. Hopefully, many more to come.

That sounds freaking awesome! We need this!
Is there genereally a Troy mod which changes the time period? Seems like they are just availible for Rome 2 and Atilla

No problem 👍 Enjoy!
Shield Block Icons shall be on the next Total War
fantastic video man
Thank you Medjay!
@@happycompy no worries
2:01 - Did I see a Khopesh?
Kam 2150 Immersive Battles mod is also awsome for people who like myself like longer battles.
Great suggestion!
It's at this moment I say:
F***K YES!

😂😂😂
thank you
hi which of these mods are compatible with the epic game version of the game.. thanks a lot for this great video ...
Hannibal Bahca, such a Sussy Bakka.
Well, harsh winter in Greece? What are the odds? Average winter temperature in Athens is 10 degrees of Celsius. So harsh is like 5 degrees :D :D

subscribed thank you
Thanks for the sub!
Have you tried out the agony mod? What are your thoughts?
Having such drastic season effects in Troy doesn't make much sense tbh, and this area was immune to most of them in older TW games anyway
Wrath of Sparta DLC for Rome 2 had the same map, and it had far more drastic seasons than this mod. We're talking -80% income in winter and movement range penalties.
super
I love your videos
Thank you!!
Revisit Rome Remastered sometime soon?
I'd enjoy that. Just saw GuideaTW is porting over Chivalry to Rome Remastered.
What?! That amazing news!
is there any mod add siege engines or catapults on troy?
everybody's happy xd
Will you be doing an updated review now that Troy is on STEAM? Do you know if additional dlcs are coming out for Troy, or is that it with Mythos?
I already made one here: ruclips.net/video/rSKfG83PMHA/видео.html. I do believe we're getting another lord pack DLC featuring Thracians, but nothing is confirmed.
@@happycompy Do you think Steam and CA would’ve made Troy a year long exclusive like Epic got last year if CA paid Steam more?
I'm not sure, but I don't see why not. I don't like exclusives though, no matter the platform.
how do i download the mods that i can't find on Epic's workshop?
Do you know if there is a mod to increase unit size or to allow a full 40 unit stack in campaign mode?
Try the "extreme" unit size in graphics settings. Other than that, there aren't any mods that I know of.
@@happycompy thanks for the reply. I'm using that setting but it doesn't allow you to exceed 20 units in campaign

Bro whats the unit at 6:35? They look like Troy movie's Myrmidons. Is it a mod?
Yes! It's on the steam workshop!
@@happycompy I have the Epic Games version. What's the mods name if you dont mind me asking.
@@Therandeon i think in epic we don't have this mod :(, i was also searching for this
i wish the battle ui could get a mod, I hate how big the icons are, it becomes a joke in chokepoint battles.
The giants look huge! is that a modded?
Yes! It's part of the Longer Battles mod!
Anyone knows how to install shield icon mod on Epic games?
Any mod for not dividing the map into two sides, factions?
None yet, but I want one of those too!
Can you tell me how you got 120 guys in 1 unit??? I got only 60 guys in 1 unit
Set unit size to Ultra in graphics settings
