The method of taking turns is good especially if children are playing against each other because another version is more competitive as it requires quick thinking and a quicker hand to place your cards in your opponents available suits until no more moves can be made on both sides.
That simultaneous version might cause fights with friends and siblings when both reach for the same suit and clash with one another for kids but maybe even adults.
I'll give this ago since my relatives have played Solitaire (Klondike) as it has been the popular one, even on the computers and other devices. Thanks for sharing this tutorial. Have a good one. 😉👍

Is there a specific name for the version you are describing? I’ve been looking for a card game I used to play and this is the closest one I’ve seen so far but not exactly it.

Double, double, toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble. Instead of one deck of cards, you play with two. Add in another player, you'll turn an ordinary game of solitaire askew

Finally, now I can bring two 52-card decks wherever I go.

You should always have an emergency deck of cards on you in the event of an unplanned long wait. This way you can teach people some card games and if none want to learn, you can play solitaire.

2:31 Player 1 flipped over an Ace of Clubs. Why couldn't they move it up?

Would you share the version you play with your aunt. As you can see I posted 2 questions in the comments. I felt there was steps missing. I really want to play the game correctly and understandably in order to explain it to others accurately. Thanks!

@@elysewilson2928 i promise i’m not trying to gatekeep but if you watched this video and want my rules to clarify, they will not. it is almost entirely a different game. foundations are shared, piles are limited to four per person, and there’s a big communal pile. if you’re still interested let me know.

Any thoughts on how to play a competitive 2+ player version of Golf Solitaire?

    1. Since the Ace of hearts was the first card in player 2's row, I understand how the game began. Had there been no Aces in the row, how would the game began?
    2. Player 1 turned over a Ace of clubs during their turn why wasn't the Ace of clubs placed in center and continued with their turn, instead their turn ended?

Why flip one instead of 3 from the deck?
