You guys asked previously which episode you would show somebody that has never seen the show in order to give them a good impression of what the show is. This is the episode.
Robert Plant's voice is better than the singer from Heart. The man's voice is basically an electric guitar. Also, I think Axl Rose is probably top ten, maybe top five. His voice makes Guns N Roses, and again is basically an electric guitar. Other than that you have Ozzy, the dude from ACDC, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, the dude from Boston, and the dude from Foreigner. Maybe the guy from Kansas too. The band, not the State. But also from the State I suppose. BTW, I have all of the Beatles' records and also all of Mr Bungle's records on vinyl. Anne Wilson is great though, have a lot of Heart records too.
Rob needs to ease up on the 5hr energys... taxing his system and he'll pay for it at some point
Glenn practically being Dennis for the entire episode was golden.
Glenn practically being Dennis for the entire episode was golden.
the man has a direct line to my funny bone it's insane
The golden god the discussion between rob and Glenn was definitely a discussion between Mac and Dennis and Charlie was just enjoying the conversation and Dennis just in the end like no yes no was so funny Glenn is most like his character in the sense of being precise and like getting mad at little things we saw that today
Please have Chad Coleman as a guest🙏
"I'm on the cutting edge" is SO Dennis.

Mac loving Axl Rose, Dennis loving Ann Wilson and Charlie struggling to understand the criteria for selection. Classic
And somehow Steve Winwood never came up.

Ann Wilson is the truth, tho.

The guys will always be great, but its just not the same show without her 😂 Meg is critical & missed
Glenn: Vegetables are poison
Ten minutes later: Athletic Greens!😂
At times like this i like to quinch my thirst with a delicious Athletic Greens.

Yeah the show is way more fun this way.
I agree so much. I’d call it rudderless
It’s a delightful change of pace. Though her being there is not a bad thing. Just dig this free-wheelin conversation
Her laugh is really distracting for me. I much prefer these ones
@mtbra9435 yeah, I loved when they talked about music for an hour rather than the show I came for.
3:45- Rob saying that quitting alcohol is making him feel worse, while that is literally the premise of one of the episodes of Sunny. LOL
The Gang Plays Quarantine 😆
“We’re just kids having fun” 😂
Stuff it deep down inside and keep an eye on it.
Yea alcohol withdrawal would make anyone feel worse
Charlie is so normal next to Glenn and Rob.

Ann Wilson being the greatest rock vocalist of all time, male or female, is the hill I will die on. Thank you, Glenn.
IMO
It's kinda funny how people all over the comments simultaneously get Glenn's point and miss the point of the Convo. Wilson's voice is fucking incredible. The Stairway to Heaven performance, that Howerton talked about is one of the greatest of all time.
But
The ranking of the greatest rock and roll singers or voices is not the same as one of the greatest singers. Rock recognition is especially about uniqueness. There's a reason why majority of the greatest rock bands of all time have singers with distinctive voices.
Axl Rose as a singer in a vacuum isn't anywhere close to Wilson's ability. Axl Rose as a rock and roll singer punches in completely different weightclass
Glenn is so sure he's right immediately, he completely steps over the other guys point The best and the greatest aren't the same thing. Mac's Steph Curry point was absolutely spot on
Totally agree. I’m not a "music nerd" at all. I just listen to good music. I loved Ann Wilson since I first discovered her as a kid in the 90s. Anytime someone asks about the best rock vocalist at a party, i always say Ann Wilson from Heart. But I can’t stand Axl Rose, i find his voice grating. So interesting that people think Guns n Roses is good, i always saw them as a fad. I mean…people don’t know Ann Wilson’s name because she didn’t do crazy tabloid shit the way Axl did
Female: Ann Wilson
Male: Paul Rogers
That’s a hill I’m willing to die on too
@@ejayman I will also defend Gary Cherone until they day I die.
Yes. Especially much better than Axl rose. I feel like a lot of people can do his sound and it’s the same sound in every GnR song.

I just hope glenn sits down some night and scrolls through all these comments and is able to finally get the satisfaction of knowing he was right 😂
Glen saying “I don’t know what you’re saying, I’m having trouble following this” is giving the same vibes as “it’s a highly sexual experience.” Escape room lady: “this is not sexual at all.” “Well then I don’t know what this is you’ve not explained it well enough.”
Why arent they taking health advice from Charlie? He is the healthiest of the three.

Rob, Glenn and Charlie not knowing where Meg was or her birthday and anniversary is so in character for them.
Ann Wilson & Heart are absolutely incredible, & I couldn’t agree more that she is one of the greatest vocalists of all time. Their Stairway to Heaven cover is legendary, and I hope this leads a ton of people to go listen to or watch it, because it is so goddamn good.
Early morning workouts, supplements, limited alcohol, vegetables, no vegetables, years of research... Charlie does none of this and is the healthiest. Beautiful.

@@mattwarrington1incorrect and passive aggressive bullocks. As someone who binged all seasons in a week it felt like a return to Dennis. He's a Dennis that's making an effort.
Despite what a bigoted section of the audience would perhaps prefer to believe, Dennis does actually love Mac and Dee. He never stopped loving Mac even though I'm sure he hated him too (that relationship is so complicated and with such drawn out homoerotic preamble that to say, "Dennis hates Mac, lol" feels like a ludicrous oversimplification). And he treats Dee like shit but it's also clear he loves her too.
Dennis hates himself and Mac and Dee pay the price because he loves them most. It feels like the series is beginning to acknowledge that textually rather than subtextually.

You can feel the sexual tension between them.
Underrated comment.
Charlie not knowing they made a lot of money from selling Dick Towel, is so good. Great call back to the episode when he admits he doesn’t cash checks.
Glenn’s mention of Ann Wilson doing Zeppelin is spot on - she totally murders it. I love Robert plant but I think her covers of them are the best zeppelin covers
fully agree! dreamboat annie does robert plant better than he does
Man, they really need Megan. They spent almost ten minutes arguing over glam rock singers.
More enjoyable than 10 minutes about meat and veggies
I’m surprised they didn’t argue over the term glam rock which I associate with a different group of musicians (e.g. T Rex). I call it Hair Metal (but apparently it’s also called Glam Metal due to influence of Glam Rock) 🤷♂️
That's exactly why I love this episode so much. Glam rock/glam metal/hair metal/etc is my shit! (As is Mike Patton/Mr. Bungle/Tomahawk etc) This episode made me so damn happy. I love Megan, though!

Great episode but my favorite part was watching Kaitlyn's fantastic acting in the clip they showed of Mac eating the paper. I had never noticed it before but I could see the moment where Dee goes from confusion to realization of why Mac was asking for the document and it's incredible how much she commits to the moment even when the attention isn't on her. Glenn being a rock vocalist hipster was not something I pegged him for, but it was incredible to see it play out in this episode.

Ann Wilson is one of my vocalist heroes and it genuinely surprised me that there was a whole thing about that. She's *incredible* and if she isn't a household name she should be.
And then Rob going into Stevie Nicks confusing Edge of Seventeen for a Heart song is hilarious because she's *also* a contender for greatest rock vocalist.
I’ve seen heart live multiple times and even recently and she never disappoints. I would say Ann Wilson was the first female lead that made me recognize that women could be rock stars.
Ann Wilson is insanely talented. Rob doesn't get it.
I think Rob loves playing Devil's Advocate against Glenn... It makes the relationship between Dennis and Mac more true.
Heart is household fersure, but i didnt know the ladies name
The thing is, she isn’t a household name and never will be. That’s not to say she isn’t incredible..Glenn literally had to google her name, as most would.. and to throw into top rock voices is quite odd, as Glenn is

Everything about that was incredible, the drums being played by the son of the late led zeppelin drummer, the rest of the band brought to tears in the crowd, the gospel choir behind Anne Wilsons epic performance. Stunning.

For anyone wondering about the Feel Free drink they talked about, I wouldn't even try them. They apparently contain Kratom which is basically a substitute for heroin to a lot of recovering addicts, however, from reading a lot of people's thoughts on these drinks they get so addicited that they drink all of what they bought then drive to the shop and buy more and that the withdrawal symptoms make a heroin withdrawl look like nothing.
Glenn “vegetables are bad for you, get addicted to Kratom instead” Howerton.
