A game set during emergence is exactly what would have gotten me back into the series.
Honestly… same, I thought if we get Gears 6, then fair enough but I think this is way more needed. Especially for the gap we’ve had since 5!

The fact that it’s on E-Day is awesome, I just noticed after so many times of watching that you can hear ambulance sirens going off. Gonna be a very cool take, don’t lemme down coalition!

I love the Corpsers crawling over the buildings and you can see like 2 or 3 Reavers flying out the massive E Hole. Then as u said the ambulances, the screams, the roars and gunfire. THIS is what Gears of War is not tht colorful, happy go lucky mess called Gears 4 n 5.
You can see him detach the bayonet from the lancer instead of pulling it outa the wall, you can also see the bandana fall off when he gets slammed into the ceiling, so cool.
f*** Gears 6, THIS is much better 😎 I've been waiting 13 years for this announcement!!!

Every time I listen to Mad World, I automatically remember Dom and Gears 13 years ago. Surreal to see the new gears with this song and to see Dom again. Xbox stays quiet for a while, but out of nowhere sends this masterpiece
I feel ya! Gears of War 1 was my first online gaming experience on the Xbox 360 and will always have that special place in my heart. Can’t wait to be running along with Marcus and Dom again

Bro the music and Dom brings so many memories back to me, the good and the bad.. overall so happy to see their going this route cause I never played gow 4 and beyond and generally heard bad things about them
4&5 will have their place but nothing Beats 1-3. After they dropped “of war” it just felt like a different game.
This game is gonna be a wild ride for all the OG dom players who get to run it back as there main man again ❤

People cried when Maria was mercifully put down in Gears of War 2, when Dom heroically sacrificed himself in 3, and if The Coalition renders the scene from the comics with the Santiago children falling into a Locust hole, people are gonna cry all over again.
I think the coalition is gonna hit us hard with some heart breaking moments. We’re back to the dark themes again

Well, the Locust kill a full quarter of the entire human population within the first day (26 hours on Sera) alone. That number by itself means crap is gonna hit the fan fast.

We may see one of the brothers for sure… possible we see a very young Anthony Carmine as a recruit
@@KizaCreates William Carmine a relative is one of the first humans to die in emergence day so I wonder if we will see that. Also like you said wonder if we will see a young Anthony carmine and his mother escaping. That would be epic. Also might get an insight into who the father of the carmines is too.
