Maybe 2moro? But there are let's see, Bella #1, she was the 1st who came hungry & pregnant a couple years ago in Feb. Delivered end of March, brought her Kittens hereto live on the side of my house in May, actually on Mother's Day one by one by the scruff of their necks she carried them here from the cone where she used to live... This was after gaining her trust but still not allowed to touch her, but she allowed me to handle the kittens by about 2 months or so... i noticed she was pregnant AGAIN & she abandoned them on the 4th of July & moved on to have her next litter & then brought those here too... I since found a rescue to help me with TNR & she has been done & every female has been fixed after MiniB's one litter & horrible case of Mastitis. I syringe fed her babies after I took her in a cab inside of a box burning with fever & engorged to the closest Vet twice in a cab fir follow ups & got her antibiotics & shots & he said I got her there literally just in time. She was 105°, lifeless & lethargic & she was unable to nurse her kittens any longer... so her & I worked as a team, I fed them one by one by syringe, I wrapped her belly so they couldn't get to her ruptured infected nipples but once her fever was normal & she wanted to be involved with her babies i held them in front if her & so she could groom & stimulate them & it helped her to still feel close & needed by her babies & that was an incredible & beautiful experience I will hold in my heart forever and of course I brought them all inside to get her fever down, healed & well before we could do that & I'm forever grateful she survived...one kitten was born still & one passed shortly after birth & all the others survived & thrived & were adopted into forever homes through the Rescue. So now every female is fixed, TNR'D with the exception of a newbee very skiddish Calico that very recently started showing up to eat. She was following Big Red one of the Males still left for us to get trapped along with Blackie & Big Grey 2 other big Males that come by to eat here ASAP! I'm ready just waiting for the Rescue to come & we will get it done. They have been Awesome! I had the baby male that lives here done along with his sister siblings(he is one of the 2 in the room right now climbing shades🤣)so theres still the 3 Big Males & the New Calico to help the Rescue people Trap when they come looking to eat & then they will ALL be TNR'd The ones that actually live in my yard, Bella my 1st, she is a Calico Beauty, her 1yr old Calico from March litter last yr I named MiniB for Minibella, Peaches & Tiggie all live in my yard 24/7 & are now all fixed so no more kittens here. I have made the entire side nice for them, 7 shelters 2 of which are heated & I'm buying one more bigger one with higher heating wattage for next winter. Several A frames. 2 double wide K&H Heated houses, a realky nice double decker 2-story wooden house my friend very kindly shipped here for them from Florida... There is plenty of room for any of the passerbys that eat & leave to stay of course after getting them also TNR'd & vaccinated if they become comfortable enough here & would like to choose to just stay... seems I opened my heart to Bella & now her whole family is here ❤ 🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛ They have all filled my heart with so much love I never knew I had for Cats as before she came along, I had zero Cat experience in my life? I'm soooo grateful she & her babies have opened my heart & my world & brought so much love & joy to my life💗🐈💗🐈⬛

The edges of those cans are sharp. I care for many cats also and I've gotten cut myself. Paper plates are cheap and you can throw them away afterwards. Just don't want to see them get their tongues or anything else cut, in turn getting an infection. I know it's a lot of work and expense taking care of so many. Same here...I understand.
that's actually very sweet, they don't do that growl - eat that some cats will do when they're possessive over food. and they don't fight with each other. it's sweet, like they are sure everyone will get a share :)

I can see how the kibble is more efficient. It can be scattered like chicken feed over a larger area, ensuring wiggle room (and plenty to munch-y) for every kitty.

You need to put more food out there then just 12 cans. Theres more then 12 cats out there. It's not enough for all those cats. And you need to feed the cats in a paper dish and spead it out better so all cats get thier rightful share. Some didn't get none. But I'm sure they got feed later
