Hey mate, Rob from Aus here, lovin every min of these vids, very informative and entertaining......Doin a great job at riding these distances and keepin the video's going....Onya buddy.
FYI - If you do ever run out of gas with a Road King or Harley dresser with a single tank, just lean or lay the bike on it's left hand crash bar for a minute and the unusable fuel from the R/H side will get you several more miles down the road.
I travel through Torreon often on my way to Durango and Mazatlan. I've never had problems in any of these towns. My brother and I have ridden around Sinaloa without problems, during the day on major roads. I think you got a ticket in Torreon exactly where I got one from the same moto cop. I was stopped for making an illegal u-turn right after you crossed the river. That no U-turn sign was just installed about 5 months ago. It's so new that google maps told me to make the U-turn. I did, right in front of the moto cop who hangs out waiting for drivers using google maps to make that now illegal turn. He didn't speak English. I can't wait to hear how you handled that stop. For me he was a nice guy, but on that day he was very cold. I felt sorry for him and gave him more than I should, according to my wife. I can't wait to hear how you got out of this. BTW, loved your photos of Torreon, particularly the drone shot above the town. You and Perry are amazing. To take all that video and then edit and post the material it just incredible. There is no way I'm coming even close to your energy levels in that heat. I suspect people don't appreciate how hot is along that route.
Truly top video footage Danny As always your editing, music location and Vlogs are 100%, Looking forward to your next edited upload... Awesome view & interesting ride Brother, CHEERS !!!
Most of the problems in Mexico are in the boarder towns, the farther you go into Mexico the more safe you are, and the more they really need the tourist dollars.
I really like your videos. I Get excited every time there’s a new 👍 i use to ride but I got panic attacks sometimes on the freeway when there’s alot of traffic and you get “boxed” in. Have not ridden so much lately but enjoy your videos alot. Good work!
You are the best, enjoy every moment and the courage you and dave have is simply amazing. You take us on your adventure through Mexico. Hope that one day you will also travel through Europe, then you are welcome in Romania with us.
You said something on this video. That you feel that people get offended every time you ask if is dangerous to go somewhere. If it's dangerous they'll let you know before you ask. Like every city, there are places where is not safe to be at at night. Especially is you stick out. I don't get offended with your comments. I know the stereo type the media portraits of México. Movies and western media. Relax and have fun. You'll love it. Ride safe. Love your videos.
I live in a border state and we actually don’t get much bad news about Mexico often. My 18 Heritage specs are a 5 gallon tank .. by the reading of 15 miles left on reserve, filled up and held 4 gallons.. so either the tank isn't 5 gallons or there's more fuel left in the tank..
1000km = 620miles. On those roads that is impressive. If you get to the midwest or parts of Texas you should be able to crank out an Iron Butt (1000miles 1609km) fairly "easy" or at least when it comes to ideal high speed highways.
