They don't make them like that anymore!! Such a magnificent talent. What a voice! I miss you so. 😂
Richard Harris is one of my favorite actors. He was also a fine singer, a good poet & a fabulous storyteller. He was one of the guests during
Johnny Carson's final week of The Tonight Show.
Richard Harris did a great segment on Johnny's last week. But, I think everything he does is great! 💕🇮🇪☘🙃

Ah, the day's when television served a purpose for humanity. Mr. Cavett is a genius and role-model for humans.
Television has only ever been a vehicle for advertising.
@@allenfenwick6257 Advertising and entertainment go hand and hand. It's called show business for a reason.
My mates grandad was a DOP on a film Richard Harris starred in, shot in the UK, and his stories about the few weeks of filming, well the evenings, are hilarious and mental. Harris was the real deal, hard living, hard fighting, hard drinking Celtic man.
Richard Harris was a great, great actor.

"That's my favorite line" and "A lot of your face is not injured" ... sarcasm at its finest. When the telly was worth watching.

Quite simply the most interesting talk show America ever made. Such an amazing time I'm only disappointed I wasn't alive to see it in its prime
It was an awesome time
No PC culture
No seat belts
Hardly any traffic
And barely anything open after midnight
So happy to hear someone of a new generation recognizes the value of Cavett and his interviews. He did the homework to prepare and it keeps the conversations bubbling and generally with ease. For me and most of my friends it was required viewing for its candor, intelligence, and introduction to "inside the guest".

I had to laugh when Shia LaBeouf tried to compare himself to Richard Harris and Oliver Reed, the good old days of the hellraisers are gone but watching the real hellraisers back in the day are just brilliant
LaBeouf is to Harris,, what Peewee Hermann is to Dave Chappelle

No comparison, none at all. LaBeouf is no hellraiser and even less of an actor. I can picture Richard and Oliver laughing their asses off in Heaven if they heard this.
