papastache102 I didn’t know that. I begged him to sell me that guitar if ever he wanted to sell it when you were still in CA. I had bid on one in Dallas, TX but they wanted to charge me a $2500.00 bidding fee after I placed my bid so I let it go to the next bidder, I could of had it for a couple of hundred more but, I didn’t like the company’s policy of not revealing their charge until after you placed your bid. I later inquired about selling some of my guitars at their auction and ask about the fees, they said they charge 35% of the selling price and what you get for that is, they take “professional pictures” list them in a magazine that is distributed in Los Angles, then list the guitars online, but you have to pay $120 a piece for the media promo which is mandatory, plus 35% at the end of the auctions selling price, then they charge the buyer a 25% premium fee plus a $150.00 shipping fee. I told the guy in charge that they are making 60% of the selling price, plus $270.00 for pictures and shipping, shipping might cost them $60.00 for a company account with UPS, otherwise, they are making more profit than the owner selling the guitars. I think eBay and Reverb are at 25% plus some small listing fees, sometimes they wave those listing fees. The auction companies are making a killing, plus they have low overhead. They did sell some Jimi Hendrix items that I wish I would have bid on and won, I wanted one of his turquoise rings that ended up going for $3200 or $3500.00 It is hard to justify that but it is Hendrix ring along with a letter of authenticity. You can look on their site and see all of the items they have sold in the last eighteen years, plus, if you buy an item, you can leave it with them and list it and they take bids on selling it for you but, with the fees they charge you have to make a pretty big profit. It would have been cool to see you buy and then wear Hendrix’s shirt, pants, hat, and jewelry. LOL Play on Jimi !!! 🤘🎸👍✌️😎🙏

Ford Thurston I was and still could be in the market for a 50’s Goldtop. They have gone up so much in the last year. I just had tornado winds damage my roof, out of pocket will be $3137.00 Two weeks later another storm knocks the electricity out, it flashes on and off six times and blows up my refrigerator, I just ordered a inverter for it, Sears charged $108.85 to look at it and sent me a inverter for a different compressor, I sent it back and just ordered one out of Dallas. Sears wants $575.00 to fix a 2016 model refrigerator. Life is grand, one surprise after another. I am always on the lookout for a great deal though, a 50’s Goldtop P90’s, 60’s Tele and Strat, 1950’s and 1960’s Fender Vibrolux , Deluxe amp. Any great price I am open, no charge for looking 😂

Brett do you have a tip for remembering long and semi-complex songs (without using chord charts)? I am learning Ten Years Gone by LZ and I have all the main parts down. I'm working on the leads now and still working through the "accents" that make it soar. Is it just a matter of boring yourself to death by playing it over and over again until it's ingrained in your fingers and memory?
Practice over and over again lol! Sorry, that is the way I have to do it as well.

These are great, but I wish there was more of this breakdowns over regular song chord progressions that move by fairly fast. When it's blocked out over these blues changes, it's very easy to stretch out over the chords that hang around for a while. When Ford says he follows the chords, how does he do it when they go by faster... snd not the I IV V all the time?
I'll drag him in here again and we can go over that.

@@BrettPapa I was married to a woman that was a rocker and then became a Yoga teacher and became toxic. A large amount of the yoga community are a bunch of hypocrite assholes.
