Always so nice to see a video form you ❤️they’re always so comforting and this one hits home cause seems we’ve been in a very similar situation. My dad passed 3 months ago and since I was living with him these past 3 years as caretaker, I decided to take over his lease after he passed because keeping the space where we shared so many memories felt like the natural choice- I didn’t want to let go of anything that reminded me of him. I cry most days reminiscing on our memories here, and imagine him walking down the hallway, waving at me as he passes by my room. I miss him so much, and can imagine you feel the same. It’s not easy ❤️

Ah Sarah! Financially speaking and for healing, in my opinion, staying in the same place is the best choice. You get the hard mourning out of your system instead of suppressing it for later. The first few months alone in the apartment were so hard, but the one year mark and the birthdays are painful forever, so I’ve heard. You also grieve the person you were before cancer caretaking, the freedom of health, no worrying and the blissful ignorance before loss. It’s still surreal. If you ever want to talk, I’m all ears ❤️

I loved your Oxalis plant 😍 it's beautiful
I wish mine would have grown like that, and your Monstera is so big.
A plant collection video will be great

Thank you!! I’m lucky. I inherited those from my mom and they survived. A few had to be decluttered since they died. But I’ve been thinking of a plant tour 😊 glad to hear you’re interested

Love your video. Your kitchen has so much good storage. You have lot to declutter but it'll be fun to watch :))

Yes; lot’s more to go, but it’s getting easier, that’s the good part. The kitchen is deceivingly cluttered. So much hidden clutter. Haha

I really hope that in the upcomming declutter video, that if you need to discard any clothes that can't be donated, that you'll film while discarding them in the trash, Ideally in a real trash can where we cannot change mind on things that get decluttered like I always do when it's in a dedicated clean bag. Most likely, either I remove things from it few minutes/hours after, or it will sit in the garage forever 🤭

Yes, as I’ve stated in our other exchanges, the trick to that is to take it out when the garbage passes or throw things out somewhere you can’t get hoard them or keep them in the house I.e outdoor garbage bins 😉

@@AlexaLikes I've actually already had few items decluttered this way probably because of you haha I almost wished I wasn't home to hear the garbage truck 🤣 But the next day I was happy it worked 😇

@Math_ilda you can’t get it back once it’s taken away. Glad it worked for you. I’ve already filmed a declutter to post after this video and I might be taking out some trash 😊
