This truck hopefully wakes up the competition, because axial and traxxas need to start taking notes. The nailed it with this release. And the best part is they are listening to there customers and reading the reviews.
Very interesting! Probably not for me in it’s current form, but I can see using many of the parts in Enduro chassis based builds. Always nice to have choices.
Thanks! I was pretty impressed with its performance. I was actually going to jump around to a few different crawl spots to film but wound up going through all my packs there because I was having too much fun.
Good review Greg and you're upbeat about this release as always. It looks great and I'm happy with my previous Element RC trail and Sendero trucks from Team Associated. I'm concerned about this one though. Looks like a long list of de-contenting here with same body front, but no grill, no LED lights or even light buckets, no side mirrors, no windshield wipers in the blank ports, plastic shock bodies (from Team Associated???), axle mounted servo (toy grade), no more General Grabber tires, but unlicensed tires 2/3rds normal width (toy grade tires), replaced metal body links with plastic, no metal center slider, the driveshaft inserts are now plastic instead of metal, bushings replaced ball bearings, lot's of chasis slop shown on video, Stealth X gearbox replaced with new transmission lacking overdrive, and not sure if there were locking diffs. That's just a start so hard no on this one. It looked and behaved like a toy crawler. Think it's as budget minded as possible except for covered fender wells. Thumbs up for those on a budget. Understandable as other budget crawlers feature similar parts. Element RC had so much quality in their previous trucks. Thanks for the review.
Awesome review always look forward to what you have to say. With the right 3d printed part you should make this look like a international harvester pickup
What is the max speed? Is it faster than walk speed while hicking. I would like to do more trails than rocks. Is the trx4 sport or axial sc10 sport better choices? Thanks
Hi, I am currently looking to switch to 1/10, I come from 1/18 Capra, I saw your 2 test videos with the scx10 base camp, what do you think between these 2 models?
SO just getting back into the hobby. I was die hard Team Associated. This is a product of theirs ? Or side company - Element ? Either way I’m buying one.
I think they went a little too cheap. Also, why didn't they rotate the endbell rather than switch the wires on the motor so that it would have optimized timing and run better? Kinda lazy on their part. Bearings are not much more than oil-lite bushings. Overall it looks and performs nicely. As always thanks for the thorough review. I know I can get all the info I need from your channel to make my decisions. I appreciate that.
My guess, a reversed motor from the supplier might have added to the cost. Knowing Associated Electrics allowed it I’m also guessing means any power loss from this was minimal. I’m actually a fan of the bushings in this type of platform. Because of its price point so many users are buying this just for fun and will toss them into closets after use with no maintenance. I used to put full racing seasons on bushings in the old days. Doh, now I feel old LOL
😝 I just dropped $250 on roc pirates interceptor chassis build. Oh well it will be worth it when I’m done. This is a smoking deal oh yeah! Good job element
Hey Greg I feel like someone is trying to scam me saying. I was selected to win this "budget crawler and I needed to send u a message via apps .. I know u never mentioned a give away... It has rcdriver badging...Lol I was so excited 😆😆... They got me for a little while... Either way thanks another great review... And of course after posting this the comment disappeared. I took a screenshot prior if that even helps catching these slimy bastards
Gen 8 def seems more stout I have both ...but the SE hands down crawls alot better .....it actually is more stable than my scx10.2 which has brass galore .
I like how companies sell us on the no sealed bearing ..every you tuber got the narrative form the source oh they can get wet no maintenance last forever haha it's cheaper for them to make more profit lol
From experience and many testing / G-plot, accel - speed, running some motor reverse you lose about 5% on performance., some up to 10%, even on neutral timed 0°
I agree with you based on my experience too. But knowing AE, the loss was probably on the minimal side and within acceptance of an entry-level budget platform.
Love Element doing this , Bringing more trucks to more people !
I just picked up my first element a few weeks ago, the green Ecto. I am beyond impressed. Great rig. This might be my second Element purchase!!!👍👍👍
Wow! Absolutely love my Sendero. This is a great bargain!

Indeed. I think people are already eyeing the new axle housings.
Thanks for the thorough review Greg!
Great review Greg, and have to say there is a lot to like on this new model, great entry level, but still capable rig, its nice
Thanks! I was pretty impressed with its performance. I was actually going to jump around to a few different crawl spots to film but wound up going through all my packs there because I was having too much fun.
Those tires and wheels the whole rig is BA. Thank you for sharing this with us and the fact it’s stock with steer universals is awesome
Brother, your reviews are some of the best around!
Thanks so much!
I like it Greg. Fits my cheap skate spending. Good video man, always enjoy them. Cheers!

Hi, very good Video - thanks for sharing
Best regards from a German RC guy

That's pretty nice I'm impressed👍🇺🇲
I don't see anything wrong with that $299 price tag. I would get one if I was in the market. Thanks for the video!
Very promising 👌
Great review as always 👏

I have the original Endero I changed the body to a jeep xj not to long ago . This looks like another cool rig..
cool looking rc and review

Looks like a pretty sweet crawler and definitely at a good price....
Hi Man how are you, I was wondering, are you thinking on testing the crossrc at6 6x6? That thing looks great!! Nice video as always cheers mate
What river is that where you shoot your driving clips? GORGEOUS. Almost makes me want to move back east. Almost.
Housatonic River.
Another WINNER from Element R/C ! Best Bang 4 Your Buck in the RTR
Trail crawler segment. Great job Element R/C
Absolutely! Great Bang 4 the buck in the 1/10 class.
Does the esc come with drag brake function?
Looks good out there
Does the esc have a drag brake and if so how does it perform ?
What's the wheelbase on this chassis? I'm thinking this could be a nice base for a project I have in mind.
Thanks.

Bushings won’t rust like bearings for hard core scalers. This will dump on the budget deadbolt.
😝 I just dropped $250 on roc pirates interceptor chassis build. Oh well it will be worth it when I’m done. This is a smoking deal oh yeah! Good job element
I’m liking it. Now I hope they bring a new builders kit out with that new XF transmission.
That would be awesome if it did happen.
maybe its just me but im getting a wraith 1.9 truck chassis conversion vibe from it but at any rate be a killer starter truck
Better than the remo crawler?
If this will fit the rock pirates rc parts then this is a promising player
Very cool👌

how would this compare to the redcat GEN 8 V2?
Gen 8 def seems more stout I have both ...but the SE hands down crawls alot better .....it actually is more stable than my scx10.2 which has brass galore .
Nice video
Nice

Body noise is cured almost by neoprene washers.
Yup
New transmission you say lol
Stealth-XF
@@rcdriver i gotta get one and see how i like it compared to the old one
One of the axels on my crawler costs more than that

Hello Mr. RC driver, I'm a little bit confused by the texting But I will say hello, Hi,, I don't think I understand the numbers👍🇺🇲🛻🛻🛻🚛🚚
