The features such as sophisticated wallpapers and 'magic' edits don't particularly excite me enough to encourage me to part with my hard earned cash. Last year's model at a discounted price will suffice my requirements!
Using magic editor has been a really poor experience for me. Removing people or objects from photos always leaves blurry artifacts that look worse than the original photo.
I tried Gemini on my stupid Android Phone and the t experience just, err.... mostly fupped up the function of Google Assistant so.... just had to ditch it.

better than what microsoft added spyware in windows (windows recall) that take screenshots of everything you do everysecond or so
