    Mr. Zakaria needs his own HBO show. CNN is limited to the type of reporting he can do. He's so interesting to read and listen to. I hope this is a way of measuring his demand. If this measure does not fair well, I hope HBO thinks better to give him a shot. He will do exceptionally well for years surely. Good luck Fareed!

    In India everyone talks about 2002 riots in which 750+ Muslims and 250+ Hindus were killed. The riots started because Muslims set a train carrying Hindu pilgrims on fire. About 60 people were killed incl women, children, and infants. No one talks about it. Still, the administration was new as Modi had come Chief Minister less than a week before the riots. He asked for help from neighboring states, but the Congress party ruled states declined to help. But within a day the army was called, that flag marched, and started to control the riots. By the end of 3 days, it was controlled. Over 300 rioters were killed. More than 500 people have been convicted- the only riot in India where there have been convictions. But those who are anti-India and anti-Hindus continue to perpetuate vile nonsense. It only alienates more Muslims and keeps them in the mind of victims and poor vote banks.

    • @quaintdeliveries247
      @quaintdeliveries247 8 лет назад +2

      Also, middle ages has a negative connotation for Europeans because that's where it took place. In India, at least the Muslims see it as a "glorious past" and Indians in general just see it as part of their history. Also bare in mind that this was the time a lot of the historical monuments like Taj Mahal, Red Fort n others were built and it was actually a time of wealth in India. Like it is now. You just seem brainwashed by the corporate media.

    • @quaintdeliveries247
      @quaintdeliveries247 8 лет назад +3

      +Diya Khanna yeah. India had it's biggest scams, multiple scams since independence during Sonia Gandhi's time in power. Not until then or since then have scams of that size taken place in India. As the economy is hurtling ahead India needed to plug the massive leaks. For perspective, India made it's first trillion in 60 years. It's second trillion in 7 years n it's next two trillion in the next 7. That is very very rapid economic growth and Pranab Mukherjee actually joked about the size of scams growing as the economy is growing. That is not ok. Modi has changed that and has invested heavily in infrastructure- roads, electricity, digital banking. People who think things are bad look outside your windows, walk down the street or go to a mall n just look around.
