    Special thanks to Damo Mitchell (damomitchell.com/) for the cameo appearance!
    Why do people hop when skilled force (Jin) and unusual power is applied to them with Internal Arts? Why do they also appear stuck and powerless? The underlying phenomenon that makes both these outcomes possible is called Na, or seizing in Taijiquan. Here is a brief introduction to the fascinating world of neuromuscular control and biomechanics involved in the Internal Arts seizing skill (Na Jin for TaiChi folks). In this video, Joey Nishad questions the concept of center of gravity and challenges attempts at explaining the complex interactions of the human body with the physical world based on rigid body mechanics. Glimpse into the intricate principles behind interacting with opponents to seize them, including the importance of understanding their comprehension of your neuromuscular control and why it matters. Learn about the significance of postural stability, force generation, and balance in maintaining Integrated Movement and Full Body Power. Finally, some sanity into the realm of Na Jin, a skill that allows practitioners to seize opponents by manipulating multidimensional force vectors.

    So the hop is a result of not being able to handle "unusual power" due to lack of understanding... I thought it was something people trained to avoid falling and getting boo boos 🤔
    Still haven't hopped a day in my life, maybe one day I'll feel this "unusual power".

      I've pushed hands (badly) many times with people in the style of tai chi I do, and have never had anyone hop. But when I pushed with my brother in-law who practices another style I had him somehow hoppng across the lounge, so I think there is an element of training it with some people

    Very interesting point of view.
    To be honest, i've never considered thinking about gravity this way but man, it really changed my perspective.
    Keep it up!!

    I enjoyed this explanation. I suppose different lineages specialize in generating different types of force, and the hopping is one of them

      Could you also make a video explaining breathing into the bones themselves? I've also read that the speed of the mind can alter the meaning of space/time, so a video on this would also be great! The ultra-fast wave-like unit of Jing must be examined as it will eventually create a singularity. Go, Joey!!! @@bewholeyoga

    The question is, the process makes you able to do this? Or you must train specifically for this?

    • @bewholeyoga
      @bewholeyoga  3 месяца назад +1

      Great question, I don't personally train for this specifically because it is a side effect, if you will, of the process I cultivate myself. Depending on what is being cultivated, it may or may not be a direct result with little additional actions involved. 🤗🙏

    Really? So this guy is one of the expert. Yeah, this is life, what makes it more interesting is that most people just react to "Life" without actually really "Living" and it's a LOL! 🤣🤣🤣
